Americas Best Value Inn Oskaloosa, Oskaloosa

I am writing this email in regards to a complaint I have resulting from a upcoming reservation with an Americas Best Value Inn in Oskaloosa Iowa. After phoning in my upcoming business trip I was advised of a "contractor rate" I could receive from the reservation clerk at the hotel of $38 plus tax for a single and $46 plus tax for a double with 2 people. I secured the single for myself and was told that the room I have last time would be $39 as it was a king instead of a queen. I said that was ok and gave my credit card info and told the clerk my others would be handling there own reservations. I was called back 15 minutes later and asked what kind of business I was in and where I was going to work. note it was NOT the same person and I could hear a male voice in the background. When I told them I was working at a local business I was advised that my rates would be more...$10 per night more! I am a partner in a large marketing firm and I am prepared to add ANY hotel that Vantage represents as a "NO STAY" on our company intranet so no reimbursement will be allowed.
