Embassy Suites Indianapolis - North, Indianapolis

Nice hotel, large clean rooms, very comfy bed. My only issue is not particulary with the hotel but that we did not get to really sleep in the way we wanted to. This weekend unfortunately there were tons of kids at the hotel (looked to have been different sporting events). Kids were EVERYWHERE running down the hall, yelling and screaming and staff members did not stop them. If you want breakfast..get there early otherwise it gets really crowded and again, kids and their hands in the buffet, big loss of appetite !!! And trying to even get to the pool....FORGET IT !! It was terribly annoying, I would stay again but I will definitely make sure that there are no large conventions going on.

A good hotel. On our visit, the service was a little inconsistent both at breakfast and with our room cleaning(unless you like a room being cleaned at 6 PM). When the extra breakfast serve yourself middle part was open, it was fine. Otherwise there was a long wait for the cook to handle all her orders. I will say that the fresh cooked omelets were good. The pool wasn't huge but the kids had a blast. As far as the managers reception, pretty much the same old same old every night. Nothing too exciting. We did like the location and would stay there again. It didn't blow me away but it was better than most hotels as most Embassy Suites are.

I recently stayed at this hotel when in town for a nursing conference. From the moment I walked into the hotel I was impressed. I was greeted right away by a lady at the front desk and she made the check in process very easy and she was exteremly friendly. I than took in the amazing lobby and atrium with the trees and the waterfall really gives the guest a piece of ease and calmness. I than went to my room to find a spacious suite. I loved how the room was set up with a living room in front and a seperating door to the bedroom. The first night I was there I went to the manager reception where they snacks were great and the free drinks were also. Every morning that I stayed I got a taste of the great cook to order breakfast which was fantastic. Also every morning was given a free shuttle ride to and from the conference! I would recommend this hotel to anyone!! I cant wait to stay again :)

I thought the Embassy was relaxing. I enjoyed the architecture, layout, plants and water. The rooms were clean and the linen smelled fresh. I liked the balcony that overlooked the main floor. I only wish we were able to enjoy the billiard table later into the night, maybe open all night.

This place was great! We stayed at this with a group of 12 years old girls for a softball tournament. They hotel staff was great and the rooms were amazing. This was a great experience for me and the rest of the team.

Great staff, Great breakfast,Love the made to order Tastes good too.. Great room. Plenty of space. Beds are one of the most comfortable. They actually do have black out curtains. No sunlight in the morning if you want to sleep in. If you want to surf the net, bring your ethernet cord(in room wired free). Wireless...$ 9.99 a day. If you are in good shape use the stairs. The elevators are pretty slow. Made it to the 8th floor before the elevator. If you are wanting to relax in the whirlpool tub...good luck! Lots of children. All in all good stay for a good price. Would stay again

This hotel played host to several hockey teams from several cities and states. I have no idea why they hosted since the security guards ran the hotel like a prison. Kids were not allowed to be alone for any reason at any time. There were no kids running around or screaming and they were still being confronted in a hostile manner. Even if the kids were only going to their room to use the bathroom or grab a drink, they were yelled at. It was a joke. When I asked the manager about the ridiculously strict rules, I was told that they were just making sure that no kids were running or screaming. It did not seem to matter that there had been none of that behavior prior to the strongarm tactics. I'm sorry, why would you host a bunch of 10-12 year old hockey teams if you were going to freak out about what "might" happen. It was an absolute fiasco. To top it off, the elevators took forever to get floor to floor. You actually had to plan your departure based on how long it could take to get up or down.

This hotel was very nice and clean, i didn't enjoy getting woken up in the middle of the night by a parrot. Secruity is very strict almost to outrageous level where kids can't even walk from one room to another without getting asked "Where are your parents?". The pool was dirty and small for the amount of people in it. Elevators are absolutely awful, I had to use the stairs 8 times throughout the weekend because the elevators were so slow. Very friendly staff. Beds are uncomfortable in many ways. This is not the greatest hotel.

This was our first time at an Embassy Suites and we were blown away by how beautiful it was and how friendly the staff were there. That is until we made our way to the 8th (top floor) and our 3yr old daughter went over to the railing to look down. Her head fit through the railing!!!!! My husband is a building inspector and was absolutley horrified to discover that the entire spacing for each railing on every floor was large enough for 2 adult fists to fit in between each rail (my husband was even able to fit his head through!). That means that if a child can poke their head through then their body can go through as well. I would hate to think that injury or even death came to a child because of this ICC safety code violation. I reported this to Hilton HQ today and I hope they act on this. This violation is probably the same at all Embassy Suites since they all follow the same design. Please watch your children carefully and have them stay away from the railings. As nice as the hotel was I have to rate this as awful because of the alarming danger to children!

the hotel was great. the room was great. the food was great. the pool was great. the service was great. i would stay here again.
