A Wonderful Experience
By Jason, 05/31/09
The hotel was remodeled within the last few years--the decor is modern in style, everything in the room was very clean, and the furniture was comfortable and in excellent condition. I stayed in a room with Sleep Number beds, and though I hadn't slept on a Sleep Number bed before, it didn't take long to learn how to use the digital control to adjust the firmness level of the mattress. I greatly appreciated the opportunity to adjust the firmness of the mattress to my preference, and it turned out to be one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever had. The distance from the hotel to Chicago O'Hare Airport is about five miles. Personally, I thought the noise from aircraft flying overhead was very minimal, and it didn't interfere at all with sleeping during my five-night stay. If you are an extremely light sleeper, have insomnia, or are never exposed to the sound of an occasional airplane overhead, you probably won't be satisfied with any hotel near the airport. All of the hotel staff I encountered made me feel very welcome. The staff at the front desk were all friendly, they quickly responded to concerns, and were helpful by providing answers to general questions. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of cleaning the room every day. For the most part, the free Internet access in the room worked well. It was very helpful for researching information about attractions in Chicago, and plotting directions to places by car or train. The process for printing information to pick up at the front desk was easy and reliable. Though I drove my car to Chicago, I relied solely on CTA's "L" train and bus system to tour the city for several days. The hotel's free shuttle service to the O'Hare airport was reliable and took no longer than 10 minutes. It was easy to catch the "L" train at the airport transportation center and ride the Blue Line into downtown Chicago for the day. Since the hotel shuttle and the train's Blue Line operate 24-hours, I could easily come and go as I wanted. I was able to leave my car in the hotel's free parking lot, which had plenty of space. The hotel seemed to be located in a very safe area. In addition to the hotel's restaurant, cafe, and gift shop, there are numerous restaurants and stores within short walking distance. I highly recommend the Radisson Hotel Chicago O'Hare for leisure and family travel, and I would look forward to staying at the hotel again.

Never going back.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/06/07
I traveled to Chicago for the first time in years and stayed at the Radisson O'Hare. The people were nice, clean and quiet rooms, though the shuttle bus was consistently late. My big complaint is with the...bacteria in the room. I stayed for 2 days, and as I left on the 3rd day I noticed what I though was the some athlete's foot. I wasn't too concerned, but it got progressively worse over the course of the next 2 weeks. I just got back from a clinic, where I was informed I now have hand-foot-and-mouth disease, likely from - get this - walking barefoot from the bed I stayed in to the shower.

Wonderful experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/09/07
I have traveled to many hotels in the country for business and can only say positive things about this hotel. The staff are wonderful, well mannered and genuinely interested in ensuring your satisfaction. The rooms are spotless. As a customer service trainer and industry expert, I am very picky about service and cannot find anything here to pick at. The bed is even more comfy than what I have at home. Outstanding value!

Close to Ohare
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/14/06
Good location by Ohare Airport. My only complaint is that the bathrooms had been redone but not very well so the tile around the toilet was broken and grimy...and I don't like those cloth shower curtains...
