Redwood Inn, Danville

I have stayed at this hotel several times. We come to Danville 2 times a year for motorcycle events and the carports are excellent so that we don't have to worry about the motorcycles. The rooms also have kitchens in some of them so this comes in handy and saves you money. The staff are very friendly and always remember who you are so thats nice.The location is close to the motorcyle club.
Now on the flip side I have had to change rooms on occasion due to dirty floors, beds, and bathrooms. One of the worst things is that they have well water and it stinks really bad. So when you take a shower you want to vomit due to the smell of the water. Don't worry it doesn't stay in your skin. My review would be that if you have high standards then don't stay here.

This hotel is one of the worst hotels I have ever seen. We looked at 3 rooms, then asked for our money back. the first room had used tampon by the door, had piss all over the toilet and floor. The kids were squatting, because they did not want to sit on the bed. the second room had a major ant problem in the bathroom, and piss everywhere. the 3rd room which was supposed to be their best room had one light that worked and it was one of those torch lamps. I you had to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, you would have to take that lamp with you. we were told later that they had an electrical problem with this room. I will mever make reservations there again. IT SUCKED.
