Americas Best Value Inn V484, Litchfield

The restaurant that formerly served this hotel named the Gardens has been torn down. It was a landmark of U.S. 66 since it faced the old mother road. I have no idea why the office/lobby/lounge and the restaurant had to be torn down. Any one that ever ate at the restaurant most likely knows what I'm talking about. That long great saladbar and that unforgettable dessert bar. The decor of the restaurant took you back to the past once you walked in and by the way it looked it was most likely never changed since it was built. It's not like there was no business for this restaurant. People who lived in the area filled the seats real quick and sometimes you even had to wait in line. Whoever's stupid idea to tear it down wasn't right!
