The Riverside Hotel, Garden City

Stayed for a conference. Very nice room. It appeared to be updated already. The bed was comfy, the AC worked well, it had two vanities. Great coffee in the room. Housekeeping was always around and available. My two complaints are very high prices for food (but buffet was great) and it's a confusing hotel to get around. The 2nd floor restroom is only 2 stalls and inconvenient for a room full of business people.

The Doubletree Riverside is an awesome hotel. It is large, about 600 rooms, so you may have to park your car at a different entrance to get to your room, but it's well worth this minor inconvenience. The room was comfortable, and main lobby gorgeous. Watch for the one ways in Boise getting to this hotel, though, but this is definitely where you want to stay in Boise.

It's a great location, close to everything. All the people are friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean, but a little noisy. It could probably be updated, but the cookies are great.

I like all that the hotel offers. The people there try to accomodate your needs. It is a nice hotel to stay at. Close to the freeway, and also downtown. I like it!

Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and given directions to our room along with some tasty chocolate-chip cookies which were still warm! The room itself was without any hint of smoke and the bathroom had this great big oval tub to soak in. My favorite part, though, was that the air conditioning was built in like at home so you didn't hear a little wall unit buzzing on and off all night. It was silent and effective. The overall appearance and ambiance was very Luxurious. I felt underdressed as I entered the Lobby but I was treated with the upmost respect and courtesy. The only thing I didn't like was that it was a bit tricky to get to and there weren't any breakfast places nearby. No continental breakfast either, but we found an IHOP on our way out of town (south) so it all worked out. There's also a Shari's on your way north when you're coming back through.
