Aston Waikiki Circle Hotel, Honolulu

The rooms was way to small. The shower was oddly shapped and had no room in it at all. They never cleaned our room and the rooms had a smell to them. They had no draw space for our clothes or anything. I will never stay here again.

I recently stayed 6 nights in the Aston Waikiki Circle. What a nightmare? As I approach the front desk ...if you can call that small box a front desk ...I was offered an upgrade to ocean view for $15.00 a night. I did not accept the offer at the moment. My room number was 808. The elevators were extremely small and dirty. The hallway walls were suppose to be white but of course not even close. The room was very small, the curtains were dirty and broken. The lamps were also dirty and the bathroom was a nightmare. The shower was filthy and the toilet was broken. The bathroom curtain was also broken and not clean at all. Poor house keeping. The floor was never vacuum, the mirrors were never clean. The bed was the only thing that was made up. My entire experience in this hotel was terrible. Sometimes is better paying a little more but you get more. This hotel was pricy and not worth the price. You can definitely find a better place to stay for the same price or even less. I do not recommend this hotel for anyone even for those that do not spend much times in their room. Try the Aston Beachside hotel is much better and right next door from the nightmare that I was in.

This is a very small room. Not much room to put your luggage. No dresser drawers. The bathroom is very small not much counter space for anything. Terrible. Traffic noise all night long.If you are planning to get any rest and relaxation do not stay here. No pool. One wonderful thing and only thing about this hotel is the view. Breath taking. The bed was old and very hard. I was so glad to leave here. Will pay a little more next time for a comfortable hotel room.

my family and i did not find anything wrong with this hotel. On the contrary it was the most awesome place to stay. I was extremely satisfied with the people at the front desk. Those are the ones that are going to make a difference . The only drawback was there was no restaurant for breakfast. But that was never a problem with fast food on either side of us. We never want to stay any place else. The view is breathtaking as well as the service. My daughter and her family and myself and my family will be returning june of 2010.

the hotel was great. the room was great. the food was great. the pool was great .the service was great. i would stay here again.

If you must park your meaty rear-end on Waikiki and appreciate no-frills value, this be the crib for you. So frill-less the place be, it's lobby "area" is not indoors. In lieu of four walls, it is enveloped by Waikikian ocean breeze. Smokin' location. Right across the street of the beach and the free evening Hula Hula shows. We would glance out our window to see if it was time for us to mosey on down for the entertainment. We had two Full sized beds. Sized barely large enough to conduct "business" and then velcro ourselves apart to sleep on seperate beds. A queen would have been nice. They'll charge you to park the rental in their toight leetle garage. I think it was about 9 bucks per day. Full in-n-out priveleges. Our "partial view" balcony meant parking our chairs at one end to enjoy the ocean view. To us, the better balcony room next door was not worth the extra bucks. Though, next time I will choose a room that isn't across the air conditioners on the rooftop next door. They are noisy and prevented us from leaving the sliding glass door open all night. They provide beach towels and info with a smile. Closet sports a small safe. The small TV emits cable viewing. No swimmy pool. Leave the shower curtain agape and shower as you sits on the potty. -UltraVic

It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at Sweethoteldeals. Net They usually have some pretty good deals on there!

we have stayed at the Waikiki Circle about twice a year for the past 5 years. Remembering that this is a BUDGET hotel and that you can easily pay 3 times the amount right next door, this place is great. Rooms are small and could use new curtains, but location, views, staff, and close proxomity to all the amenities of Waikiki just outside your door, make this an excellent get away. Unless you are a real jerk, the staff is absolutely wonderful. One of the few places where the access to heaven is just steps away and the views are absolutely incredible. So this is not quite the Ritz.... if you want higher thread count sheets, pay $500 a night and stay somewhere else....

Waikiki Circle has perfect location & great oceanfront view. Aging hotel, rooms are small but clean & well maintained. Friendly & helpful staff. Very limited parking on premises. All things considered including price, I would stay here again.

My kids(11+14) and I stayed here in November 2006. Check-in was effortless and the beds were very comfortable. The rooms are not large but very adequate. The view was exactly what I had hoped for and the location, accross the street from the beach was perfect. There were lots of shopping options and restaurants near by. We felt very safe and the hotel was quiet all the time. Tour coordinator right on site. I booked here because the place I usually stay was booked up. Next time I visit I will try this place first.
