Wyndham Waikiki Beach Walk, Honolulu

First of all... There is nothing to NOT like! The Wyndham Waikiki Beach Walk is in the heart of everything! You have great restaurants, shopping, beach and more. Everything is in walking distance and you MUST visit DUKES - Make reservations head of time and around sunset - It is just beautiful! I THANK all of the staff at Wyndham - you all were wonderful! We will be returning next year!

I have actually stayed there 3 times and we're going to stay there again next week. We have stayed in 2 and 1 bedrooms, they are so nice, so comfortable and so CLEAN!! Modern with great Hawaiian accents. I also have made reservations for my brother and his wife and they are going back to this resort in a couple of weeks for the second time, they loved it too! The location is excellent!

We stayed at the Wyndham Waikiki Beach Walk in Feb. 2008; and LOVED IT!!! Can't wait to go back. My husband & I are owners with Wyndham & used our points for a Hawaii get away; this hotel was more than we expected. We had a one bedroom suite on the first level; our room had a bedroom, bathroom, FULL kitchen, living room & 2 patios. Also the room had a TV in both the living room with a DVD player, and a smaller unit in the bedroom; the unit actually would have slept 4 (sleeper sofa). We loved the location and the full kitchen. We went to Safe Way and got groceries (sign up for the Safe Way card & save more $$). We liked the ability to cook our own meals and not have to eat out every meal. The hotel is a block from the beach and in the middle of shopping. We especially enjoyed shopping at the Internation Market Place. Also be sure to check out the free entertainment on the beach; every night a group performs a hula show on the beach. We enjoyed the ShoreBird Beach Bar in the Outrigger Reef on the beach Hotel; look for the buy one get one half off coupons. Food is wonderful and staff is super friendly. We ate lunch here more than once. Very large portions more than I could eat so I took it back to our hotel and had the remainder for dinner. Be sure to rent a car to drive around the island it is some of the most beautiful landscape you will ever see. When you go to the North Shore be sure to stop at the Dole Pineapple Plantation and try the pineapple ice cream - sounds awful but is soooo good! We had 6 pineapples sent to us at our home from here; they arrived on Monday after our return on Sunday; it was a perfect treat to greet us at home - and we gave a pineapple to our close family members as their present from the islands. My husband and I are already dreaming of our next Hawaii vacation and would not think twice about staying at this hotel again - we LOVED IT!

After staying at the big island and another honolulu hotel, this was the best experience considering the location and ability to get such a prime location against those establish giants like the hilton. I felt like I was in an apartment because it had a living room, kitchen, dinning table, two separate rooms, and two separate bathrooms, oh and how could i forget, the laundry machine! The location was great because it is located on the main block and street relative to the other hotels. It was also surrounded by luxurious shops, such as beard papas, ruth chris (across the street), fendi, louie vuitton, etc. It is relatively new and clean. The downsides that led to the deduction of one star is that internet is only accessible in the business room or the lobby. the pool was so tiny, I felt like my toe took up all the space, and the beach was always too crowded, as expected of waikiki

This is a timeshare complex, but the suite was quite comfortable and very clean. The location is good for those who would be visiting Waikiki for the first time. It is a block to the beach and shops. Just be aware that it is a very noisy location because of all the high rise hotels in this very dense area - delivery and trash trucks arrive at 6 AM.

really loved the resort. close to lots! for less expensive places to eat - Giavanni's next door has free pizza with 3$ draft beers M - F. Also, seaside bar & grill has great breakfast deals and its only a 10 min walk. downside - the combo washer/dryers don't work well and leave clothes smelling weird.

This is in a central location so you really don't have to rent a car to get around. We walked to most places or shuttles are readily available. Lots of great restaurants closeby. The room was wonderful! It was very clean. They were very helpful at the front desk and stored our luggage when arrived early and stored it when we checked out but hiked Diamond Head before leaving the island. Great place to stay!

We returned from this wonderful place in Feb 2007 after an entire week. The delayed honeymoon in Hawaii was well worth it. Everything from the comfortable beds, room space, location, and conveniences was a plus. The hotel employees were exceptional and I am asking my husband (A FSP owner) when can we return. I took advantage of most classes offered in the lobby and would have done more but, there is so much to do on the island. My only regret is that the booming construction business across the street from the hotel was loud for two people who like to sleep with the patio doors open. The crews started pretty early but, they got us up and we started our day of adventure on the island earlier than later. If it were not for the construction, the overall experience would be 5 stars. Loved this place! It was walking distance from everything, the nightlife was outstanding too. we stayed 7 days without a car and had a blast!!!! It's all you need, right by the beach, shopping, clubs, everything!

JUST LOVED everything about it. Clean Clean Clean,, so close to beach, places to eat and the Royal Hawaiian shopping center. I would recommend this to anyone, Can't wait to go back. Mahalo!
