good value, location, service, and food!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/12/10
We stayed here for 7 days, and it was a pleasant stay. we just had to cross the street and we're right on the beach shore already! clean room, although bathroom needs some updating. the aquarium restaurant is such a terrific sight! fresh towels were given daily, and the balcony of our room faces the sunset so the view is just wonderful.

When we go back, this is the place!!!!
We loved this hotel. Probably the best for the money!! Clean rooms, wonderful restaurants. Great shops inside and very friendly staff! But bets of all was location!! Right on gorgeous Waikiki Beach!! Beach is so clean. Do yourself a favor and try this first! You'll save money and be close to everything!!!

Run down, noisy
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/30/09
This place needs major renovations inside, and be aware that they fired 32 workers for forming a union and there are often noisy protests.

Good Time.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/28/08
I thought this hotel was very nice for the price. Staff was excellent, food was excellent and accomadation were good. Yes, the meals were expensive, but everywhere in this area the food is pricey. My room was cleaned everyday and fresh towels were given. Thumbs up to PBH

\"Is this it!\"
By Da Girlz Mom!, 6/29/08
My likes of this hotel was the convience to the beach. I enjoyed the ABC shops that was on every corner. If you like to walk around and find different areas to shop. You should walk down about 8 blocks, the stores are much cheaper. Especially if you are shopping for little items for friends back home. I also enjoyed the spa in this hotel. This was my husband and I first massage it was great. I would also recommend

I would stay there again.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/13/08
I loved the hotel and everything about it. It was a very friendly hotel and the breakfast was incredible. The location is just fantastic with the beach and shops at your front door. Can't wait to go back. The room was lovely and a little balcony which is good.

We would never recommend this hotel to anyone
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/6/08
The Lobby looked nice and we thought we were getting a nice room, boy were we in for a surprise. The carpet was so filthy I didn't want to take my shoes off. the furniture was old and chipped, bedspreads were all faded out and smelled of stale smoke. The only good thing I can say about it was it had a nice view. We ended up getting a real nice, clean room with modern furniture and great service at the Aqua Waikiki Wave Hotel for a cheaper price.

excellent hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/9/08
THe staff were very curteous. It was close to all amenities, including the beach. Close to routes for running. they accepted Military ID from Canada which gave much better costs for the rooms. They upgraded without being requested. Want to stay there again

whats going on here?
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/7/07
great location, reasonable prices, our son went crazy for the aquarium, friendly staff, decor is a little dated. Restaurant is a bit pricey but Im on vacation so what they heck? One day there was some sort of labor dispute(picket line) here that made it very uncomfortable for me one afternoon. My girlfriend wanted to check out and move to a different hotel. If it were not for the labor strife here i would love to come again since i dont have a huge budget to spend on my vacation(also since our son loved the fishes!) But till then, im sorry to say probably not, its just an uncomfortable situation here.

won't stay here again
By Sylvia A, 10/16/07
I have stayed at this hotel 3 times. The first 2 times was great. Inexpensive compared to some of the others. This last time I went July 11, 2007, it was totally different. There was no bell service to carry our luggage to the room, we had to haul it up to the room ourselves. There was a big protest in the streets by the employees because of the way they were being treated by the hotel,( this really went off well for us). The room we were staying in, you could here the garbage trucks all thru the early mornings making all kinds of noise, so that we could not sleep. So be careful what side of the building you stay on. I will be staying someplace else the next time I go. Too bad, I really liked the Pacific Beach hotel.
