Terrible experience!
By MC, 3/18/11
I booked a weekend stay at this hotel for my parents as their Christmas present. When they arrived to check in, the hotel was overbooked and sent them to Aston Maui Banyan. So, basically, they downgraded them without any sort of compensation. When I asked about this, the general manager, Dennis Costa, told me he'd send me a check for $50, which was "a fair amount." I'm sorry, $50 for 2 nights plus the inconvenience they put on my parents?? I'm not stupid. So, after referring to the site I'd originally booked with, I received the bare minimum of what I was owed, which was $156. And I only was able to secure this after I went above Mr. Costa's head and emailed a complaint to Aston's corporate office. However, even they seemed to treat my complaint with minimal professionalism, as they simply forwarded my email to Mr. Costa to deal with. The whole experience was absolutely ridiculous! You'd think in this economy, they'd want to go above and beyond for their customers and fix their mistakes in order to preserve their relationships, but that wasn't the case for us. Take your chances booking here, but I certainly won't be staying at any Aston hotel if this is how they handle their mistakes.

Our 2nd Home!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/7/09
Maui Hill is like going home, we have stayed in the one and two bedroom, friendly staff, great manager Dennis Costa. The beach is down stairs and across the street, maybe a 7 minute walk (or drive and park). We've been lucky enough to stay there 7 times, one to two weeks each time. We will be back again next year. I cannot think of anything negative. We Love Maui and the Maui Hill!!

We are going back
By Terry, 1/10/08
We spent 15 nights in unit 118.It is a 3 bedroom, 3 bath, very spacious unit. We loved the location. The beach is a 10 minute walk, but we considered it our daily exercise. We also walked to the Mana Kai Resort for some meals, and Christmas dinner. The people at Maui Hill are friendly and very helpful. We are returning Dec. 2008, for a 3 week stay this time. It is an amazing place for families or couples, and you get your money's worth. Thumbs up to Maui Hill.

We would stay again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/28/07
We loved our stay at Maui Hill. We just got back a few days ago. We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bath. There were two patios, one was full length from Master bedroom to end of living room. We are a family of 5 and had plenty of room. The kitchen has everything you need. Our room also had 3 boogie boards, 3 beach chairs, a beach umbrella and a cooler in it. Maid service came everyday. The room was clean. The pool and jacuzzi is nice too. You can walk to the beach, if you walk to the bottom of the complex there are stairs that go down to the sidewalk and then you walk about 1 block down the street and cross the street to get to Kamaole Beach III. There were also DVD's, books and hard wire hook up to the internet.

Very Nice Resort
By Bradley, 7/28/07
I really liked our 2 bedroom 2 bath condo. Very spacious and the people were always very attentive. Our AC room broke in one bedroom lat eat night and rather than waiting for the next day, they replaced it so we could sleep better that night. I loved everything but not being able to walk to the beach. But that isn’t their fault, those hotels are out of our price range Also, rent a car from Kihei Car Rentals. It is a local company family owned and VERY NICE PEOPLE!!!

Great stay - good value
By Suzanne, 6/12/07
We stayed in a one bedroom ocean view. Plenty of room. Spacious living room area. Large lanai off of living room and smaller lanai off of kitchen/bedroom. Newer TV with VCR/DVD player and CD player in LR. Friendly activity coordinator - helped with arrangements without being pushy. Quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the tennis courts and pool. Only complaint was the ocean view room was only a partial ocean view. Appreciated the internet access - at no extra charge.

A Great Place to Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/13/07
We stayed at the Maui Hill for a week in July. The facilities were clean and spacious. We brought our 2 children with us and there was plenty for them to do too! The location was off the beach but the peacefulness and beautiful surroundings more than made up for the five minute drive to the beach. We had everything that we could possibly need in the condo. The pool and the surroundings were lovely as well. If you are looking for a nice clean place to stay at a reasonable cost this is definitely a place to stay. If you want to be pampered and have every need catered to maybe not. Would I stay here again? ABSOLUTELY!!

Maui Hill is the best
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/22/06
We have been timeshare owners at MH since 1992 and we come back every year to enjoy our "home away from home". We love the spacious units, well manicured lawns and the pristine pool and the perfect resort atmosphere one expects during his vacation. The GM, Dennis Costa and his staff has kept Maui Hill in top notch shape. Maui Hill's staff are friendly, courteous and radiate with aloha spirit. We can hardly wait to come back again next year and we had just left the islands a few days ago. The location is convenient to everything. The Kamaole beaches are great! Kihei is a great little town. best in Kihei
By barbara, 9/15/06
great, friendly, clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Stayed here twice and loved it both times. Last time was in March at short notice they found us a garden condo after we fled the torrential rain on Kauai.
