FANTASTIC!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/10/08
The hotel has undergone a major room renovation. The guest rooms are bright, colorfull and spacious. I will diffently return to this hotel when I am in Atlanta.

I LOVED it!
By T-Baby, 12/20/07
My friend and I came to Atlanta for a weekend. We stayed at this hotel for the first time, and it was AMAZING! The bed, the shower, and even the view were awesome! We didn't want to get out of the shower. When we finally left, we were ready to come back just to take naps! I'd stay here anytime!

Save Your Money & Stay Somewhere Else
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/17/07
The service was horrific. The staff could have cared less about us & showed it. First: We asked if breakfast was included & were told "I don't know, check back in the morning" by the guy at the front desk. Second: We forgot a corkscrew so called room service. They said they'd be up in minutes with one. 20 mins later, I called back. Again, "give us 5 minutes". 10 Mins later, I decided to complain at the front desk & the guy said "Give me a 10 minutes & we'll be up w/ it." I said I was tired of waiting & just needed a corkscrew. I said, "Should I just go to the bar?"...his reply was "Oh, yeah...that's a good idea." Third: At breakfast we went to the hostess stand to get a seat. She took 3 steps, pointed at the back of the restaurant & said "Take one of those 2 tables over there". She couldn't even walk us to our seat. The breakfast buffet itself was cold (I wasn't expecting steaming hot...) & extraordinarily oily. Menu says "Eggs cooked to your liking" so I was surprised when I asked for an omelet & got "Oh, not omelets" as an answer. For your typical price of $13 for a very poor breakfast, they should not make you pay an additional $3 for juice either. Will DEFINITELY never recommend, nor stay there again. It was so bad, it was almost comical. I thought Sheraton's were meant to be decent but this has surely put me off of them. There are definitely better hotels for similar prices around Lenox to choose from.

You really get what you pay for!
By Stephanie, 8/31/06
This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed. I could not wait to leave. Let's start with the bathroom. The toilet would not flush unless we held it down for about 20 seconds. It made a loud noise until we figured out that the handle had to be pushed up manually. The sink and tub were both stopped up and there was caulk surrounding the entire tub. It looked like someone tried to patch it up but did a horrible job. The carpet was worn and looked like it had not been changed in decades. The closet doors did not open and close properly. What was so gross was the fact that I found a blood stain on my sheets. The maid service knocked on our door even after having the privacy sign placed on the door. Unbelievable! Sheraton remodeled their lobby, fitness center and hallways, but failed to update their rooms. I will never stay at a Sheraton hotel again.

Rude, rude and rude, did I say rude?
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/27/06
The staff was the least professional ever. The hotel is run down and not clean at all. There is almost nowhere to park and you can not even get to the lobby door to drop off family, luggage, check in, etc. Where you do park it is un-lit and rather unsafe. When you try to get to the front lobby to check in or drop off your luggage the staff gets out of control. Did I say they were rude, that would be a compliment. I would never go back and if I had to I would ask for a Police Escort to control the staff's behavior.

Sheraton? ha,ha, funny!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/2/06
I would be ashamed to recommend this place to anyone. But if you ever do go ther never ever take a room on what they call a garden level., it STINKS! There was mold on the ceiling and on the wallpaper. I had my room changed twice just to go straight across the hall which wasn't any better than the first room. The only reason I was down on the garden level was because it was all that was available. I was sooooooooo glad to get out of that place! I'll never be back there. I wouldn't care if it was free! I had better rooms at Motel 6.....

I definately recommend this one.
By Lyndee, 9/13/05
First impressions: Lobby area: one of the first things you see is a view of the pool's gorgeous dolphin statues and fountains. Check-in was expedient and professional. The bellman guards your luggage like it was his own. Dinner in the resturant: Again service was excellent. The food was fresh, plentiful and delicious. I declined desert so my server brought me a sample (no charge). All staffmembers that I had personal contact with were most personable and professional. They took the time and asked questions to be sure all your needs and wants were handled. In the heart of Buckhead in Atlanta IS - the heart of Atlanta. This hotel was a great value compared to other properties in the area. I reserved a standard smoking room and was upgraded to a king with a balcony. The bed was super comfortable. Only complaint: The power in my room went off at 6:30 am. They were able to restore it fairly quickly but it ran me a few minutes behind on getting to my business appointment. Further complicating the problem when I called for a bellman it took much longer than they said it would. I didn't even have time to check out. Overall the service was excellent and will go back the next time I go to Atlanta.

This is A Sheraton?
By JayW, 8/19/05
I Have been to many sheratons and the sheraton buckhead is by far the worst one I have stayed in thus far. It seemed like this hotel was a dressed up motel. One employee was very rude and lacked class. Now I can understand that people have bad days, but we can all still be professionals. Well most of us can. The service was pretty bad. The coffee cups were dirty, the personell did not change the bedding, did not leave new towels and the pillows were dirty when I first arrived. Now once and if you can get past all of that yes the room was comfortable. Now as long as you're not trying to get to the Georgia dome, Phillips arena or The G.W. Conference Center then the location is fine with a shopping mall right across the street. So in all no I would not recommend The sheraton buckhead at all. But I am not giving up on the franchise. This was my first bad experiance with the sheraton and my last at this location. But I do reccomend the sheraton at colony square. It is much closer to the major attractions including the new Aquarium. I have stayed here twice and have had no problems at all. Great Location.

Don't choose this Sheraton
Advantage: Good location. Nearby Phips shopping mall. Disadvantage: Bathroom stinks. They don't change the linens. Remote control is broken. Internet is not free and expensive. You pay a month of internet subscription for 2 hours usage. "Whatever" service or maybe the receptionist never receive proper training. Don't stay at this hotel. There are a lot more hotels in 5 miles radius that has way better service, free internet, less rate. Just better everything!
