" You get what you pay for "
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/21/09
Have you ever heard , "you get what you pay for " this hotel explains it all. My Husband and I are from Tennessee, we are here working for a week. We asked for a single bed room, bottom floor, close to the main building. Since we were staying for a week , they put us in a double bed room ,on top floor, away from main building. House keeping only comes once a week. You get two towels and wash clothes for the week and they are dingy looking. If you run out of the one single roll of tissue they give you , you've got to buy your own. No change machine in the laundry. The extermnator came while we were here and put out brown gel on outlets and on top of wall lights, white powder beside night stand. Air unit is loud. Some channels on T.V. want come in right. We will not stay here again.

Filthy, Smelly - Checked out less than 10 min.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/20/09
Traveled with a group of six and all of us requested a full refund in less than 10 minutes of entering the rooms. The lobby beautifully belies the horrid rooms! The rooms reaped of stale cigarette smoke, sweat, mold and mildew. Even after spraying febreze and a disinfectant, the stinch couldn't be masked. There were crumbs on the floors, hairs in the towels and on the bathroom floor, stains on the sheets and as well as the towels, and if that wasn't enough, the extreme humidity was intolerable. I left with major sinusitis irritation. BEWARE, your personal items may not be as safe as you think as one of the couples were given keys and full access to someone elses' room and personal belongings. The hotel owner was indescribably rude and disrespectful after some of the family members requested a full refund. He refused to honor the refund request and even threatened to contact law enforcement. After viewing the rooms himself, the so called hotel owner slammed the door of a back room, returning with the full cash refund, threw the money on the counter and informed my family to never return to his hotel. Trust me, we will never return to this or any other travelodge hotel due to the fear of a similar horrific experience!!!

Don't look at old reviews...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/12/07
The property has been changed to a Travelodge and a major renovation is nearly completed. This is a large and beautiful property located conveniently at a major interchange of I95. There are nearby restaurants, and it is just a few minutes from St Simons and Sea Island. The rooms are fresh and inviting. The lobby area and breakfast area are far above what would be expected in an economy or even mid-level hotel.

Hard to sleep in dirty covers
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/04/05
I liked that it was next to the I-95. But I hated that fact the the beding and carpets had stains in it. I also did not like that the pool had bandaids in it. My parents didn't even had the guts to go in. In the morning I went to get coffe and the front desk didn't milk. Next time I am driving to Florida from NY. I will not stop at the Ramada Inn of Brunswick.

Great place to stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/23/05
I thought the staff was extremely nice. The room was very clean and organized. The parking lot is lit very well and there was plenty of parking right in front of our room. The hotel is located right off I-95 so it is very accessible. There are plenty of restaurants nearby.
