Quality Inn South, Valdosta

This place is a dump. Do not bother to waste you money. I walked in to look at a room, which smelled like the sewage. I did not stay because I felt dirty just walking into this poorly decorated of a place that stunk.

I found a small bug on the pillow when we got there...thought it was a random baby roach.....after my husband and i fell asleep our daughter woke us up to tell us she lost her tooth...he turned the lamp on and our bed was covered in bed bugs...all inside the pillow cases and especially up under the matress pad...we started freaking out..got up ,,threw our clothes on and went down to the office....after taking pics of course..the lady was rude and refused to go look..she said theres no way the pics were taken there.....she refunded our money and we went somewhere else....by the way i'm writing this review right after it happend....we are now staying at the wynngate.....which is very nice :)

It must have been a wild party time in our room. Empty pepsi bottles were all under the bed found by my grandchildren and crumbs on the floor I had to remove so they would not eat them when crawling around. The breakfast included moldy bread in the toaster area and sour milk in the dispenser. The floor in the breakfast area was dirty also. The lounge music was so loud I could not sleep and drunks were walking around outside. I felt insecure for my safety.

The woman at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. We stayed in a room which was clean. There was no smell. Everything worked well. Even though this is an old motel, the grounds are nice, the atmosphere peaceful, and the location convenient to anything most people might want. The rates are probably the lowest in Valdosta. This motel may seem a little dated, but is in all-around good shape. Would stay here again!

To me this hotel was a great choice. The rooms were not 5 star or anything like that, but they were bug free, didnt smell, and had everything needed for a great stay. The rooms were also clean. The staff was very friendly and always made sure we had everything we needed. The hotel is also very close to Wild Adventures, Walmart, and many restaurants. We are currently planning another trip there in July.

the place is just run down....cant seem to get rid of bugs, its rusty and the lady in the breakfast area doesnt look clean..very nasty. i wouldnt stay here again...EVER

This was one of the worst hotel rooms that we stayed in. Terrible smelling room. Opened up one of the drawers and found a jalepeno pepper. Dirty toilet. Pubic hairs in the tub/shower. Would never come back.

I travel from Brunswick to Tallahassee often and I usually stop in Valdosta for the night. I have stayed with a few different hotel/motels in this area and was very pleased with my stay at the Quality Inn. Most clerks at these budget places are not very nice and the rooms are not very clean. I found the staff at the Quality Inn very courteous and outgoing. The room was clean and bug free. There was a fridge and microwave at no extra charge (the budget hotel across the street called their rooms with fridge and microwave a suite LOL!!) I was so impressed by the staff and cleanliness of the rooms I brought my family with me this last time to go to Wild Adventures Theme Park. They have wireless and plug-in high speed internet for free. The pool is outside and larger than most other hotels. There is also a playground for the kids. They have a lounge and even a real Japanese Steakhouse on the property (all of which I was unaware of because I usually just stay the night and head to the job in the morning). I would gladly recommend this hotel to friends and family traveling to this area for business or vacation and don't want to spend $120 a night.

The rooms were very dirty and they smelled awful. I read the reviews on line and thought this would be a nice place to stay-I would not recommend this hotel.
