Merry Acres Inn, Albany

I like that the rooms are newly renovated with some stylish decor and make for a great environment. I like the fact that they have a restaurant and several ball rooms. If you were to ever have a party, would highly recommend the Merry Acres Inn, when there are hotel rooms on site to ensure a convenient stay and safe solution for people who have too much to drink.

This is a wonderful place to stay! I stayed in this hotel the day I had surgery and the room was so clean. It was a great feeling knowing I made a good choice for after surgery. The office staff was very nice. I needed extra pillows, and room service was knocking at my room immediately! I have very bad allergies and usually they act up when I am not at home...but they did great at Merry Acres! This is how I knew this place was nice and clean! I will definitely stay agian! I would also recommend it to anyone!! Thanks!!

I would have to say this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. It was very clean. Everyone was nice and helpful. The food was wonderful. I will stay here every time I come to Albany.

My family planned on coming to Albany for a wedding, instead we came for a funeral. We stayed at the Merry Acres and the staff went beyond their call of duty. We felt like family with them also. Anything we needed, they were there.If this outpouring of generousity is indicative to their everyday duties, then God has truly blessed this establishment with Angels. The Motel is very old and dated. The rooms are small and the bathroom is tiny. I drove up to this place and I could not believe my eyes. They don't show you a picture of the rooms on the Internet. All the rooms are ground level and you park in front of your door. I will tell you that the rooms were clean. I cancelled and booked at a Hotel. You get what you pay for!!

liked everything. everyone is very friendly and helpful.service was good, breakfast was good, nice location in the city. the first place we would make a reservation to stay in when visiting albany,ga.

Our 3rd trip in 6 mos. We'll be there tomorrow. You can't beat Merry Acres. Everything is wonderful. The rooms, the grounds and most importantly, the staff.

This motel is absolutely AWESOME!!! We were there on business, but throughly enjoyed it! The pool was georgeous, the staff couldn't have been more courteous and helpful, there is a computer, printer, and fax service in the hotel lobby! The rooms were HUGE. The breakfast was hot, plentiful, and DELICIOUS!! My son had to go back the next week to work, and this is where he chose to stay---AGAIN, and my son is picky!!! Thanks to all the staff!

Oddly enough, I used to work at the airport in Albany for years, and we had pilots who would ONLY stay at Merry Acres. Here, 20 yrs later, I found out why. Clean, convenient, awesome full breakfast with real eggs, roomy rooms and bathrooms. Has everything. Grounds are great. Staff wonderful! HIGHLY recommend.

I have never stayed overnight in Albany but recent business and educational commitments required I do so. I searched via the internet and made one call for reservations and everything was perfect. I was so happy with the price,location and accomodations that I will continue to use this facility on my educational travels. The facility is well kept and staffed with very helpful courteous employees. Thanks
