Most awful hotel ever!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/8/06
My business held its annual banquet at this facility and paid for my accommodations. Thank goodness, because I would have never stayed here (and never will again) on my own.
The only good point about this hotel is that it was on the beach.
Otherwise, I had NO hot water, and there were bugs in the bathroom.
At the banquet, the chicken and prime rib were overcooked, and the only dinner knife given to us -- a butter knife -- would not cut through. No one at my table ate his / her entree, and we later ended up going to a restaurant elsewhere.
Furthermore, my company was promised that our rooms would be ready by 10:00 am, which is before normal check-in of 4:00 pm, so that we could have an early business meeting. Instead, I had to change into business attire in a public bathroom, and when the meeting was over at 12:00 pm, I still had to wait in the lobby with 200 other people from my company until I got my room at 3:30 pm.
Overall, this is absolutely not a beach resort. A hotel's location on the beach does not make it a beach resort. Don't waste your money on this place!
