Holiday Inn Express & Stes Columbus, Columbus

First of all, this is the first time I have felt compelled to write a review about anything. I'm not a blogger!! Anyway, my husband and I stayed there when we went to basic training graduation and family day for our son. The hotel was wonderful! I am a clean freak, as my family will tell you, and I won't usually go without shoes but I was quite comfortable going barefoot. The hotel was spotless and free of odors. The room was quite large with granite counters and tile floors in the bathroom, a large t.v., wifi and VERY comfortable beds. From the moment we arrived the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. From the front desk to the wonderful, cheerful lady that fixed the breakfast in the morning. I hope they're paid well because they deserve it. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Enjoyed our stay. Staff friendly and helpful. Great to see a security guard actually working! Only downfall, staff talking by pool - in the early hours of the morning - their voices travelled up and into our room, even though our window was closed. However, that only happened twice in our 8 night stay.

one of our rooms smelled like wet pait the other had such a filthy carpet we had to wear shoes so our feet didn't turn black!! placement of the street lights in the parking lot were terrible. they shined right into our rooms. it looked like noon at midnight. we had to stuff blankets around the curtains for it to be dark. the front desk was very nice and very helpful the pillows were amazingly soft!! that's the only 2 good thing i have to report

We stayed here for my son's return from Iraq to Fort Benning , it was really close to the base and downtown as well, parking lot well lit and had a security guard as well we felt safe. The rooms were very clean and new. My son enjoyed a wonderful nights sleep on a very comfortable bed for the first time in many months ! We know where we will be staying on our next visit ! Staff is very friendly and helpful !

We stayed here for our son's graduation from basic and it was great. The hotel is very clean, great location to Ft. Benning, and the staff were all so helpful and pleasant, especially Jazmine at the front desk! We would definitely stay here again.
