Wakulla Suites - A Two Bedroom Suite Resort, Cocoa Beach

no one wants to leave good reviews of this place because its hard to get rooms ,they are always booked.this place is mini apartments,2 bedrooms,mini kitchen,washer/dryers,grills in the courtyard,great pool,the wakulla is shaped like a tuning fork,so you have a courtyard that keeps the wind down so you can stay warm by the pool if its a bad beach day.overall great place to stay,you really dont need a car here,everything is close by,for a beach hotel,not bad at all,so make up your own mind and try staying here for a couple of days,closest beach to orlando,gambling boats,cruise ships,1 hour from mco orlando airport,i love it here been comin here for 20 years,hey by the way dont tell anyone one .thanks(i still want to be able to get a room next year) at cocoas secret jewel

We were looking forward to staying at Wakulla Suites in Cocoa Beach. Unfortunately, a family matter came up and we needed to cancel. We had only made reservations a couple of days before we had to cancel. Wakulla Suites will charge us the full rate of the room even if we are not using it. (it's policy). Things happen and there are times when we have to be flexible. We will not use this hotel again.

It's not the dirty or outdated rooms you have to worry about (we put our shoes on when we ENTERED the room), it's the other guests. We were kept up all night by guests boozing it up poolside, the soothing sounds of corn hole being played at our door, and f-bombs being launched by parents who were not supervising their children. The staff was friendly (when they weren't forced to fish turds out of the pool). However, if you are not a 25-45 year old partier looking to "hook-up" on vacation, move along.

My husband & I and our 3 kids stayed here and we loved the extra space these suites provided. Our room was located in the courtyard so we had a beautiful view of the gardens, the pool was just a few steps away, and the beach was a short walk across a street that was not very busy with traffic at all. This was definitely not a 3 star+ hotel, so if that is what you are looking for then don't stay here. However it was clean and comfortable. The place is older, so it could use some obvious updating & maintenance, but everything was in working order. In the evenings, it did get a little loud in the pool area, with people just having a good time. We were close enough to the pool to hear it in the living area & kitchen, we did not, however, hear it in the bedrooms. The stay was friendly and helpful with recommending things to do in the area. We would definitely stay here again with our family, but if it were just my husband & I, we would stay in a more luxurious hotel. Well worth the money we paid. We received our AAA discount as well.

They advertise as being on the beach-two parking lots and one street crossing further to the beach. There were multiple large goups staying there with lots of young childeren and litttle to no supervision. They were running around and screaming until 1:00AM. Motel security was totally worthless. There was trash and garbage in the parking lots and the coutyard area. When we left the next morning it was all still there. With tax, we paid about $135.00 for one night. We begrudge them every cent.

This Resort is VERY misleading when they say beachfront. When we arrived I couldn't believe that we had to walk about 2 football fields to get to the ocean. With small children this is quiet a task when you add on 3 beach chairs, cooler, snacks, ect......The staff was very friendly although the housekeeper neglected to sweep or mop the floor until asked. When we arrived there were gnats all in the suite. We had to constantly keep a spray bottle of bleach handy to spray them down! The beds were extremely comfortable!!!! We enjoyed the pool and the tropical garden around the rooms. It was a fair stay overall. Would I recommend it? No, if you have small children you need to stay somewhere closer to the beach!

This was the dirtiest hotel I've ever seen. We had to wear our shoes the entire time inside due to the dirty floors. The furniture was dirty and old.... the entire room had a weird smell. Our entire suit case of clothes all smelled after the two nights here. The "kitchen" was not equipped. There is a micro and refrig, handy to have. We cut our stay a day short after walking into the room and seeing the condition. The location is good. It's not quite on the beach, but a short walk across a street, which did not have much traffic.

I thought the motel was great. The place was large and convienient. The Housekeeper was wonderful. The equipted kitchen saved money.I will stay here next time I go to Flordia.

this place was filthy and there were little bugs in the kitchen. Granted the rooms were big, but the bedding was dirty. We were told we would have beachfront, nope. they gave us pool view...The only view we got was of a mold covered rooftop. They use the pic of the front of the place to make it look nice...far from it. We left and went to the Laqunita for a restful night stay...

We (Husband and I ) stayed last year for two nights before going on a cruise, it was a wonderful motel. The rooms are clean, the pool area is spectacular and the rates are fantastic. We are going back this year,with the kids. Yes it's true, the pool was hopping at midnight, mostly with adults and older children, but your on vacation, who wants to go to bed at 10:00, everyone was friendly and enjoying themselves. I don't see anything wrong with that. I recomend Wakulla Suites, there are not many hotels that have room for 6, cost less then $125, it's own beach access, and provides grills for your use. Go - you'll have a good time.
