Been to better hotels.
This hotel is not the best, and I am being nice about that. The walls are paper thin. The room next to ours was a crying baby, and it sounded like the baby was right next to me. No microwaves in room. The vending machines (drink wise) was almost out of everything. When walking into the building, it was dark and depressing. The afternoon crew, when checking in, were okay. However, the next day, when asking for directions, we were given the wrong ones, and we found our self lost. Breakfast was not included in the price, and paying $150 a night, one would think that at least breakfast came with that. When leaving, we only had one foot out the room, and housekeeping were almost pushing us out the door to clean it. (I was a housekeeper before, and i KNOW that is not how to go about things.) The pool clearly has signs that say no smoking in the pool area, but when I brought my son to swim, at least two people were smoking, I am a smoker too, but I respect the rules, and other people and not smoke in a non smoking area. The rooms did have a big screen TV, however, if all i wanted to do was watch TV I would have stayed at my house. Street lights were also shinning in my face all night, even with the drapes all the way closed.
Now, here is a few things that I did like. The swimming area is beautiful. Rooms were clean, and had two big, comfortable beds. Room service was quick and had reasonable prices. And that about completes my "likes" about the hotel and room.
My husband left a charger in the room, and it took him two days of calling to finally talk to the housekeeping supervisor. They did locate the item and said that they would mail it to us. Not here yet though.
If one is looking for a hotel in the Pensacola area, keep looking, because this is not the hotel to book.
