Inverrary Hotel, Fort Lauderdale

There were a lot of things I disliked about this hotel. First, the halls smelled of outhouses. Secondly, the water was always piping hot even the toilets! If you plan to stay here, make sure you are aware there is no COLD water. Therefore, showering and washing your hands was a very unpleasant task. Next, the elevators are really old and often broke down a lot, so plan on getting stuck in an elevator, I haven't seen elevators this bad since staying in my undergraduate dorm. The gulf/tennis view is a joke...we had a view of a roof even though we were guaranteed a view no to mention both the gulf course and the tennis courts are not kept up. The bed was as hard as a rock and you could feel every spring. Furthermore, whatever price you get online expect to pay 15 dollars extra for usage of the iron, hairdryer, and house cleaning and it is not an option you have to pay it.

We got there and there were extra fees to the room, the elevator was broken and we had to go up the stairs 8 floors with our bags. THAT'S NO ALL... after 2 hours I decided to take a shower, the bathtub had a problem, as soon as I put my foot in to the bathtub it felt unstable (sort of wobbly), when I finished getting in, I felt cold water in my feet, and an awful smell (like raw sewage); there was water underneath the bathtub lining that came up through the sides. We called the front desk and they said there was no manager until the next day and they couldn’t move us to another room; they also offered air freshener for the smell. Worst experience ever! We left and looked for other hotel

Ya man dis hotel is da best mon. Andre is on somtin but what can ya do mon. Rohan is da best man. Omar go get your phd mon. ya man good hotel and da pool is da bomb mon. WIFI is horrible tho mon. got to get that thing fixed mon. oh and pay your taxes mon. ya mon.

i just spent my passover there i was with a group had the best time the pool the b ball court the tennis court the rooms are the best comfortable beds make u wanna sleep all day love the lobby and the dinning room girls all the way special thanks to night front desk staff omar and andre and kevin as well fernanda and all the hard working staff but most biggest thanks goes to night front desk maneger rohon he was the best and he was fun to play pingpong with i loved my stay cant wait till next passover at the inverrarry plaza resort

I booked thru yahoo travel and no where was it written that we would be charged an additional $15 a day for resort charges. I called yahoo travel twice and was told a supervisor would call me back. I'm still wating for the return call. I ended up having to pay $10 per day for parking so that my vehicle would not get towed. The hotel had been renovated but the flooring was not installed properly, it buckled in some areas. The beds were comfortable.

We went for 3 days to a convention to this Resort and we did have very good service. We were over 1000 people and it was the best I have ever gone. The resort offers multiple options and our group enjoyed the full stay/ Food was very good and the best was the staff which was very accomodative to our needs. I do recommend this place. Very clean and classy.

Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, but the room was clean. The pool area was nice, but the pool chairs were filthy and the tiles of the inner edge part of the pool are coming unglued. Finding parking is a problem. The service at the bar was poor, but the food was great. I would be willing to return to this hotel if customer service improved.

I did stay in this hotel on the past and I was hesitant to come back but we decided to give it a chance. We were so suprised! They changed the elevators, remodeled the rooms and definitelly they changed their housekeeping. The service was great and the cleanliness of the place was outstanding. Is like a new hotel in every way. And we loved the wood floors.

I stayed at the hotel for 4 days on a golf trip in November, 2006. The hotel is not in perfect condition but our group was very satisfied and will return for our fall trip next year. It is not the Four Season's in quality or in price. The rooms and public spaces were clean. The restaurant and bar were fine and the staff could not have been more accommodating.
