Mariner's Boathouse & Beach Resort, Fort Myers Beach

I love being able to wake up knowing that the day is going to be warm and sunny everyday, and that we will probably play at least 7 games of volleyball everyday. Then when thanksgiving comes we get a crap load of food. I would strongly suggest coming here.

I loved this place because service was great. Also there were alot of people there in my age group and I had a blast! The rooms were so cool and I liked the theme.

This is the ultimate relaxation destination. If you're looking for snooty doormen and valets this isn't it! But if you're looking to kick back and forget about life and enjoy the gulf coast, The Boathouse is your destination. When the goes down, the view from every room is breathtaking, and the full width panaramic glass doors bring all the color right into the room. The nautical theme is pleasant and a nice change from the cookie cutter condo ceramic tile everywhere look. The other guests made us feel at home, yet gave us our spece when we wanted to relax. The staff was willing to do what ever they could for us. A great location, a great venue and a great experience.

Love the location, rooms, pool, the view is great. Good place for kids. The down fall is the poor attitude of the staff. When you go some where for vacation and spend your hard earned money, it would be nice if you felt like a valued customer and not an inconvenience. We have went for the last 20 years and will be finding a new place. Its not near as good as it once was. Its not just me, other guests I spoke with felt the same way. If the management was changed and had staff with a positive, upbeat attitude it would be VERY good place to vacation. The staff has gotten way too comfortable with their jobs and it seems as they do not like their jobs. I know for a fact that many people would love to have those positions. Everything changes over time and its time for a change at Mariners.

The Boathouse is like home away from home. Our family enjoys the peacefulness and friendliness of everyone there. Nice to travel to a resort where you feel at home. No stress, no worries, just a relaxing atmosphere. We're going again this year! The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Once we get there, we don't like leaving the island!!!! Thank you to all the staff! You should commend your owners and board members!

This is was our first time in Estero Island Fort Myers, the experience was great, the place, the location and the people were awesome, we love the apartment with the balcony in front of the Ocean, the resort was clean, We enjoyed so much that we will come back.

My fiancee' has been going to Mariners for about 15 years, and I have gone the past 3 years. This place is awesome!!!! There are plenty of activities, the activity director makes lunches and breakfast...it's just an awesome place!!! And definatly clean! If you are looking for a nice relaxing vaca, this is the place to go! Like previously said, it's not for those who want valet and all that crap. It's a very comfortable resort...and it's like being at home.
