Holiday Inn Resort Panama City, Panama City Beach

These rooms stink with overpowering maid service aresol cans of stinch trying to get the rooms to smell better. The rooms are way outdated like in the 70's and charging 21st century rates. I'll never go back.

My boyfriend and I go every year for Thunder Beach in September and this place is absolutely the best. The place is always clean and well stocked. The staff is always super friendly and always helpful. Although, it is a huge place, you always seem to have alot of time to yourself or you get involved with the others if you like. It's great whether its just you and your significant other or if you make it a famly trip and take the children.

I LOVED THE LOCATION THE SCENERY , THE CLOSENESS TO THE BEACH. I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and the night club in it. It was very romantic/ I am planning a trip back as we speak.

Loved the kiddie water park! Perfect to get away from the hot sun and hot sand.

We traveled to the Sunspree resort with three young children ages 8, 5, and a toddler. The kids had a blast at the pool and at the ocean. There were always many activities and entertainment going on at the resort. I was disappointed in the quality of the room especially the bathroom. However, every room had a stellar view of the ocean with a nice size balcony. We did come back from the trip feeling very rested and would go back again. It would be nice to see some renovations done and perhaps "kidsuites" added to the rooms. The staff was friendly and the housekeeping did a great job keeping our messy room clean. With a full size refrigerator, it is possible to stop at a grocery store and have breakfast in your room and lunch picnic style down by the pool. That helps with the budget.

This resort was wonderful. Friendly staff, nice rooms with large refrigerator, large bathroom. Lots of things for kids to do. We will definately stay there again! Would like to go back in warmer weather so we can enjoy the outside amenities. We would definately recommend thisi place.

I LOVED THIZ PLACE .gREAT ROOMS REALYY REALLY CLEN AND NICE TO.i LOVED THE BALCONY!IT WAS DESCENT SIZE AND ALSO THERE WAS A WHITE THING TO PUT OVER THE BEARS FOR SAFTY FOR LITLE CRAWLING BABYS.tHE POOL IS HUGE...tHEY ALSO HAVE FLOATS THAT YOU CAN BORROW..THEY DO HAWIAN DANCES AND MUCH MORE.tHEY HAVE A SMALL FITNESS CENTER THOUGH..and THE OCEAN WATER HAS LIKE JELLYFISHES IT STUNG MY CUZ AND LEFT IT BLACK AND REDISH...BUT THE BEACK(SAND)IS ALSOME CLEAN AND THEY ALSO HAVE UMBRELLAS AND CHAIRS AND TABLES FOR HANGOUTS,..anD THE WATERPARK THEY HAVE A PERSON GIVING AND EXTRA LOOK AT THE CHILDREN ALSOME..IT MAY NOT BE CHEAP BUT ITS WORTH IT.YOU DONT HAVE TO GOT TO WATERPARKS OR SHOWS OR STORES CAUSE U HAVE IT ALL THERE.AND THERES ALSO A PERSON WHO HAS BUNGEE AND CARRIES YOU AND YOUR LUGGAGE TO THE HOTEL ENTRANCE.tHE LOBBY IS ALSO BIG AND SPACIOUS IT EVEN HAS A WIII IN IT..iT WILL GO AGAIN THE EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT IT WAS LIKE IF U WERE IN hAWAII ...bUT FOR OCEAN WATER LOVERS ITS NOT RE3COMENDED THE WATER IS HORRIBLE BUT THE BEACH IS SO ALSOME AND EVRYTHING ELSE IS WUT IT COUNTS..BUT THE WATER HORRIBLLE..AND THEY ALSO GIVE OUT FREE POPCORN..AND BETTWEEN 2-3 THEY GIVE OUT WATERMELON COOKIES DRINKS AND MORE..YALL SHOULD GO

Plenty of activities for all, especially kids, and a good location central to dining and attractions. Full size fridge and microwave in clean rooms and nice staff were a plus. Off season rates were a plus. Only downside was across the street parking, but there were nice older guys on golf carts to shuttle you across. Floors 6 and up have best view of beach and ocean due to tall palm trees around pool deck. Overall a very attractive place to stay, secure and clean.

This placed lived up to all the positive reviews and had me scratching my head about the negative reviews people gave it. The furniture in the rooms are a little old looking but who stays in hotel rooms for the furniture. The rooms have a full size fridge and the beds were very comfortable. I was actually suprised how clean the rooms and the hotle grounds were kept with all the sand that gets tracked everywhere. We stayed on the 11th floor and never waited more than 30 seconds on an elevator. Granted most of our stay took place during a slow time for the hotel. The staff all seemd very nice annd I would reccomend this hotel to anyone. Great views, easy access to the beach, large pool area, on site lounge, and kids activities are just a few things that make the Holiday Inn Sunspree resort a great place to stay.

The Staff is very friendly. Every single staff member acted as if they had an interest in assuring our needs were met. Some employees at other hotels I have stayed at act as if they are doing you a favor in doing their jobs. Nice pool area with a game room for kids, also. Nice gym with Universal set, sauna and steam. The restaurant breakfast buffet is expensive. Got ripped off by Checker Transit.
