Sheraton Orlando North Hotel, Maitland

When I contacted the hotel for in-room childcare, they only offered one local company called Fairy Godmothers. When I called the service, the line was continually busy so I gave up and called the hotel back and asked if there was an alternative they would recommend wherein the answer was no.

We were on the Club Level floor #6. With this level, the hotel provides a complimentary substantial Continental breakfast in the club bar with yogurt, cereal, fresh cut fruit, and pastries. Beverages are available all day long. The bar opens at 5:30 and they have complimentary hot hors d'oeuvres, fruits, and candies. The alcohol drinks are extra, but very good. This club room also has computers, sofas, tables and a big television. It is a great place to relax. Only floor #6 can access this room. You need to insert your room key in a slot in the elevator to get to your room on this floor. The hot tub waterfall and the large pool on ground level was quiet and delightful, even though the hotel was hopping. Our food in the restaurant was delicious and the service was friendly and attentive each time we were there. On the weekends, the club room doesn't serve breakfast, so we tried the restaurant. We each ordered the smoked salmon with bagels, etc. What generous servings. My husband and I could have shared one plate! Our room was clean clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows were just right. We stayed 3 nights and loved every minute. The gym is well equipped also and never busy. This is a very nice place to stay if you just want to chill out and enjoy the hotel, pool, hot tub, etc. It is also a great place to plan a business function.

My room had a flat screen TV, the lounge had a great atmosphere with a fountain in the middle of the lobby, the food was superb, there was an unbelievable pool with water effects and the service was really first class.

I like the way it was renovated it is beautiful who ever did this job did a great job a high five to them. the room service was great , the night goodies were great . i did not dislike nothing at this place, everything was great.oh also the pool area looks beautiful.

great experience what every hotle should be like very clean, and friendly, and the food was great also. Building was pretty and everthing was in order

The decor was amazing and classy. The rooms were spacious with a wonderful bed. We ate at the bar and had a great dinner with a Lamb Chop that was out of this word. This is 5 start experience!

I loved how the hotel was well lit and very well kept up. the water fountain and tables in the lobby were great. It was also nice to have the toiletries from Bath & Body Works! I would definately stay again!

What I liked about this hotel was it was in a great location and that it matched the colors of my wedding. The catering manager was excellent but that was about it; all other employees were not helpful. What I didn't like was the fact that they couldn't get my honeymoon suite straightened out, they had us booked a night earlier which we weren't even there yet. They even had some of my guests rooms messed up! My mom's room wasn't even ready when we checked in. Down stairs was nice and clean but upstairs in the halls were a complete mess. The workers were just playing and I almost tripped in my dress due to sheets laying in the middle of the hall. I am very thankful everything turned out alright for my wedding but I will not recommend it until they finish remodeling it. It shut down in May,2005 for some remodeling so hopefully they have new management or something to keep the hotel in better condition than it was.

Restaurants at the hotel had inattentive staff. Had to serve ourselves coffee and get our own silverware for breakfast. Front desk staff on overnight shift didn't seem to know the internet hookup details, nor were they willing to find someone to help us during the day. Hotel was clean and ground were neat. Right off freeway exit and easy to find.

I liked the location and the service of the staff. I was there for business, and the hotel bar, An Tobar, is phenomenal. The only dislike is the price of the liquor. The beer prices are very reasonable, but it goes hand in hand with it being a hotel and it being in Orlando. Overall, this hotel gets 4/5 stars. Great place, and will be back when in the area.
