We booked here because the reviews were very good, but apparently the other guests never asked for a refund for one night?
Friday the room was very hot when we checked in, I guess they don't get it ready for booked guests? It cooled down eventually though after several hours.
We were pleased with the room otherwise, clean and remodeled.
During the second night the air conditioner malfunctioned preventing any sleep for most of the night. The clerk offered another room at 3:00 am,in that room the ac was not turned on either so it would not be usable untill it cooled. Realizing we were not getting any more sleep that night we checked out a bit after 3:00 am and requested a refund for that night. The clerk couldn't give a refund and said the manager would call the next day. The call never happened, on Monday the full charge was billed to the credit card so I called them, the clerk took the message and said he would ask the manager to call us. Tuesday the manager called offering only 20% off for that night, because I had refused the room I considered unusable in the time given.
Overall there were other problems but the stay could have rated a much better review had the manager not taken it personal and considered what she would expect if she were in our position.
I hold a universal refrigeration license, the air conditioning unit in room 210 needs service (which the manager doesn't agree).
Be wary of booking room 210 if you want a good nights sleep.
