University Inn, Orlando

i enojoed my stay there. great customer service. Don't get me wrong, it wasnt the Hilton, but considering the rates it was excellent. Great environment. Friendly front desk. And my room was in great condition. The manager Angel there helped me numerous times when i was having trouble. For all the negative comments I've seen, i beg to differ. stop hating! =)

We hosted a party over there a couple of months ago, and we love it. "Angel" the manager was just like his name "ANGEL". He worked around our budget and is very friendly. I definitely will be hosting a party pretty soon at University Inn. Sunny B.

Poorly made bed, sheets kept sliding off mattress. Ice makers haven't worked in "years." Front desk not friendly. Not a great place to stay, but very cheap.

I stay at the University Inn when I go to work in Orlando. I own my own business and the hotel is very reasonable in rate. The rooms are clean but they are no hilton. The comment on 10/18 made no sense. For one thing I never saw no hole in a ceiling. The cleaning once a week is what I get but they give you towels everyday unlike other hotels like the Crossland. The manager Angel is a good person. He gives me the best rates. He even helped me boost my car when no one else could. When I needed something for my room I asked him and it got done plus he does security. I always stay here. It makes no sense to comment bad and say you would stay again. Now the Days Inn next door stay away from there. Cops are always there.

I loved the hotel it was very quiet. It had a big pool. The only thing wrong was the maintenance. The guy would just walk around and smoke. Everybody else was nice. I see all this bad reviews about the Banquet Room. Those people must do drugs because I had my wedding there and the service was great. The manager Angel was very helpful and even bought us a wedding gift. I told my family about this place. We should be having more parties soon. The manager worked with us since we were in a budget.

Felt like I had entered the twilight zone after visiting the lobby! To go from a very ornate and lavishly decorated lobby to the actual room, I thought I had passed through a time warp! Hot water constantly streaming from the faucet in the tub, towel bar had been ripped from the wall, broken mirror on the bathroom door, the remote missing from the room, the air was minimal at best, no paperwork in the room telling you where you are staying or how to get hold of someone at the front desk and the phone didn't work! Don't go there; and I will be sure to recommend this place as somewhere to stay far away from!

Room #110 key card entry not operational, we were given a key to open the room door which was not locked. Upon room inspection the had a damp smell and was not clean. Returned to front desk and had to wint 30 minutes for someone to show up for a refund, as we cound not stay in this establishment. Pool was closed due to chemicals being added however it was dirty. Building should be torn down and rebuilt.

I was going to book my wedding in the hall because it was a nice looking hall, what made it were the chandaliers...except the ceiling had a huge hole in it and was leaking water. They said over and over they were going to fix it. I ended up having to book another place without getting the money that I already put down. DO NOT book anything here. They rip people off by taking your money and making promises that they can not keep. Than screw you over by telling you their are no refunds. No to mention it smelled like mildew and was hot. Even with the AC on it was still warm. The kitchen the caterer could have used was full of junk they basically used it like a storage closet. It's a shame! The tables and chairs were falling apart and the rugs and ceilings had steins on them. Plus the decor outside the hall was tacky and outdated. They are a bunch of SCAMMERS and Angel (from the front desk) you suck because you knew exactly what you were doing when you took our money. I won't be surprised when you guys go out of business.

I cannot even describe in words how I feel about Ramada. The room was FILTHY. Service so-so....My best description would be the first thing I noticed after entering the room: a turd in the toilet and pubic hairs and stains in the linens which obviously had never been changed since the slobs who stayed their before us left. Overall, I think they should bulldoze this Hotel. If you think it is a decent place to stay at ANY price, you would have to be really poor and not used to getting much. I would have felt more comfortable staying in a tent and cleaner staying at a toxic landfill. Avoid at all costs.
