Marriott Hollywood Beach, Hollywood

this hotel is on the beach, and even though it was pretty close to fort lauderdale, it is in more of a relaxing area, no craziness. Classy hotel, but ok for sandals and bikins. The restaurant is on the boardwalk on the beach, and awesome for people watching.

Has gone downhill. Cusotmer service,attitude and people who seemed to be very welcoming are what used to make this a great stay. But, not anymore. This place is GLOOMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What happened?

WE WERE ON HOLIDAY THERE IN MAY IT WAS FANTASTIC . THERE WERE STORMS MOST DAYS ABOUT 3 IN THE AFTERNOON ,BUT THEY SOON PASSED , THE HOTEL WAS VERY CLEAN , AND THE SERVICE BRILLIANT ,

The Spa at the Marriott was WONDERFUL!! We stayed for our anniversary and the staff and treatments were amazing. Its small and it doesnt have a steam room or sauna, but it really felt like home. I give them a 10+ I will be back C

My Girlfriend and stayed here for a get-away weekend and we loved this hotel. The room was clean and had an AWESOME views. If you are a beach person like we are you will love this hotel. The ocean is literally 50 feet away and the sand and ocean were beautiful.

Very nice hotel, but location was not. It was on beach, if that is all you want. Food/service was good. Drinks were very expensive at bar. Bed/pillows were very nice/plush. It is a quiet hotel, so that was nice too. If the weather is bad, you should have a car, like the other person said in his review, as there is nothing close to the hotel, if you want different scenery. If you just want a beach/pool/good food/comfortable rooms, then stay here.

This marriott has been totally re-done inside and it's very nice. Outside is very old and not attractive at all. Our room was upgraded and large, but the TV was not near the sitting area, instead it was close to the bed, whcih I did not care for. We did not like not having a balcony, but most rooms have them..i guess. You do not overlook the ocean in most rooms, but you can see it. It is on the beach though. The bathroom was nice, but no place to put things, glass bathroom door, so if you are w/other people, they can see you in the bathroom, so you have no privacy. Restaurant is nice downstairs and the tikki bar is nice too, which is on the water. The weather was not good, which means there is nothing close by, in walking distance to do anything. You must have a car. All of Hollywood is old, but the downtown part is fairly nice.
