Carry Protection!

I had to stay here for a week for a conference and couldn't change hotels because my company had already paid for it.
Pros:
Nice pool area
great bar staff (expensive though)
Maintenance guy was sympathetic and helpful
Cons:
- Room are claustrophobic
- Blankets thin
- Beds are springy
- Front Desk Staff useless
- Rooms are DISGUSTING: Floors unclean/wet. toilets (yes multiple) are broken.
- Broken Furniture
- Homeless people roaming the halls after midnight. (I called front desk, nobody picked up)
- Different rules for different guests (Pool closes at 11pm. I was chased out on Monday. Tuesday and Wednesday people were in and around the pool till 3am. On Thursday me and and older couple were chased out)
- Dangerous part of town (was advised not to go out at night by locals)
- Bed was made, but rooms were NOT cleaned nor towels/soap replaced
- Shuttle staff makes their own rules (clocking out 15 mins early to run personal errands while people sit and wait)
Minor Cons:
TV selection is weak
Nothing in the immediate area to occupy an afternoon
No working vending machines
Took 30 minutes to check in, and 20 minutes to get a room changed when the toilet in the first room backed up.
It was an uncomfortable experience. I didn't get a single night's sleep, nor did I ever feel safe. Simply TERRIBLE. The owners and employees do not seem to care and simply punch in and punch out.
