Never Go Back
By Ricko, 07/19/08
Where to start? In the amenities states free wireless internet. Only got it to work one day after being moved closer to the lobby. Ask for schedule for shuttle bus to Busch Gardens, stated that they would come after you call the hotel. Note: If it rains at all phone lines will be down, drive your vehicle to the park or take a cab back from the park. Both rooms we were in were smelly. Beds were awful, couldn't hardly sleep at all. Only good thing was the morning breakfast and nice people serving you. But the real breakfast cost extra, continental is free.

Don't stay here!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/11/08
This was the worst hotel I have EVER stayed at. Our first room was moldy and full of mosquitos. The a/c unit was so loud that it was hard to sleep. We moved rooms after we developed a leak in the ceiling and our bed was soaked. Our second room was more moldy than the first and also had mosquitos in it. We cut our stay two days early and went to stay with family. The positive reviews on here must be from hotel staff because this place is aweful. The breakfast room was dirty and the cook staff were more interested in thier personal conversation than attending to the guests. They did not have half of what they said they did. The cooked breakfast was so old that I ended up eathing around the dried up portion. The one positive was that the houskeeping staff and the front dest staff were pleasant and responsive. Unfortunately, they have a worn-out and poorly maintained property to work with. There are lots of newer hotels in the area - stay at one of them.

It Stinks!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/14/07
This place is currently being renovated and have dozens of contractors and laborers milling around all day. The location was decent but it's a hop away from a drama filled part of Tampa. Inside the room looked relatively clean but it smelled moldly and dank. The best part of the hotel is the lobby which is showcased the most. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating but this is a raggedy hotel being doctored up. 12/7/07 to 12/10/07 rm 1013.

We would go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/05/07
We didn't want the first room it was back away from our reunion and hospitality room. They switched us to poolside (second floor)which was great.WE had no problems with the food service at breakfast. The cleaning staff left our room in good conditon. The location was easy to get to other events.

Unsafe environment
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/15/06
I was attending a seminar arranged through my job. I had three different rooms within the first 2 days of my stay. The first room was extremely moldy. The second room was equally dissgusting. (chocolate on the telephone and lotion all over the shower curtain and tub). Upon returning to my room (3/13/2006) to obtain a sweater (in broad daylight) I was followed by an individual who wished to gain access into the building without a key. When I did not let the man in I was verbally assaulted, someone else let him in and he chased me down the hallway. When I tried to telephone the front desk, the telephone did not work. The front desk clerks laughed at the situation when I reported it. (but gave me a 3rd room) This was not funny I was alone at a seminar and was in fear for my life. Please be advised that this Hotel is not a safe environment.

Yikes!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/02/06
I have stayed in many, many hotels over the years and have never seen a staff so rude and so incompetent. I really didn't think hotels chains got this bad. The rooms were disgustingly dirty. My window wouldn't even close all the way so it couldn't be locked. I called the front desk four times and was lied to each time. I would avoid this hotel at all cost.

Great Place to stay
By RichardM, 01/18/06
This place was great. Everyone of the workers provided me with great service. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Unfortunly they did charge me a dollar to make a phone call due to the addition of trunks for internet. But there was no wireless internet available in the room.

The best hotel there is
By Honey D, 09/25/05
Well I did'nt dislike anything about this hotel, I loved it because the people was nice and the rooms was clean and nice to sleep in. And it also smelled so good when you walked inside the bedroom, almost made you feel like home. By Dina
