Holiday Inn Oceanside, Jensen Beach

I love the location, however I was terrified to walk in the front door. I had to climb a fence, crawl in an open window, nobody came to the front desk! So Rude!! so I walked myself to the room, just and old mattress on the ground, pots and pans thrown about and scary noises. I called for room service and nobody came up to my room! Some guy wearing a white sheet, said his name was G.Host I never met him before. The next day we went down for continental breakfast, only to be led to a mysterious secret passage. well it was a path to the scary gym. I jumped in the pool between the plywood pool cover, (lousy cover) and the water is black and 3 feet deep with dirt in it. I got out and waited at the tiki bar, everybody on the beach just stared at me, they are just jealous because I have the place to myself. The place looks filthy! I would go back though, ghosts and all. It was like being on the titanic. I went down and paid my bill, but nobody gave me a receipt. I heard a loud, ear piercing scream as I left and saw a blue figure on the second story, fourth window from the left. Great place for the family! Ask for G.Host, he will take care of you! I am sitting out front waiting for the owner to show up to give him thanks for a great stay!

This hotel has been closed since the five hurricanes that hit this area in 2005. It was a nice place while it was open. Wayne Huizenga (sp?) purchased this property, but has done nothing with it. It's a shame. With the right owners it could be a great vacation place again.
