We paid around 150.00 a night. (Too much) Since it said Hilton Bayfront we thought it was on the water. It's not. I guess if you stay on the top floors you could see it, we never did. Had to pay 10.00 a day for parking! Room was nice, bedding was great. But..... there was a function going on downstairs. I couldn't believe how loud the music was. The room was vibrating! There were kids running around everywhere out of control. Surprised at how long dirty dishes stayed in the hallways. Restaurant was too expensive $15.00 for coffee and pancakes. No balconys, a fridge would be great for that price. Would not go back.

Nightmare!!!!

Disinterested, rude clerks. Dirty, smelly rooms. Peanuts in fold out bed and under bed.Not a hotel for families.I tried to switch hotels but all where booked.Dirty dishes in hallway for two days. Hallway in the evening still cluttered with the morning's clean-up leavings, piled high. The only thing clean was the lobby -- beyond that, buyer beware!Pool dirty and had visable algae growth.Could not reach front desk on phone or customer services. Had to pay for internet services and parking in there lot!!!!

Never Again !

Disinterested, rude clerks chattered among themselves, leaving guests waiting to check in. Dirty, smelly room. Hallway in the evening still cluttered with the morning's clean-up leavings, piled high. Noisy, rowdy clientele left me feeling unsafe. The only thing clean was the lobby -- beyond that, buyer beware!

Overated Hotel

This 3-stars hotel did not live up to its promise. The bathroom was moldy, and the carpet looked old and dirty. The worst of all was the room-service. The maid threw away a bag of my souvenior, and there was no-way to recover it.

Downtown, Bay Front!!

What a great location, we walked to several nice resturants, the pier, a casino cruise, and lots of shopping, including a grocery store

Guess Paris don't come here

Online they Claim to have Cable HBO etc. And in room movies however they do not have them and will tell you they know it says it. They are trying to fix the problems. They offer no runners for the bussness class that they claim to cater to. The food from room service is nothing to write home about Lemon chicken is nothing more then chicken nuggets with lemon seasonings. I am guessing the Hilton sisters do not stay at the family Hotels. Would pass this one by

You need to know!!!!

Stayed for what became just one night when it became apparent that the property was being run by children. Checked into the room and although the bed was made, the sheets had not been changed! Without going into graphic detail we were horrified! The bathroom was full of mold on the grout and the wallpaper was peeling off the wall. The toilet was spotted with what you can imagine as was the bathroom floor. After having to go down to the desk because our calls went unattended, a housekeeper arrived with a stack of linens and handed them to me so that I could make up a fresh bed! I can't believe that this hotel still flys the Hilton banner. I wrote to Hilton corporate about this and received a certificate for a future stay at the same property!!! Can you imagine??!!?? This place is a sorry excuse for a hotel and the management (if there is any) should take note!

Don't go.

I should have left before check in was complete. Rude,inarticulate and unhelpful staff should not be placed at the front desk. The price did not reflect that of an outdated hotel under rennovation. The rooms smelled of mold and the linnens were sparse. The workout room equipment was poorly maintained. Finally, the internet access consisted of a room off of the lobby with 2 computers and a printer. One was located on a cabinet that was falling apart. The other was on a counter next to some old broken cabinets. My advice, DONT GO.

So-so St. Pete Hilton

The St.Petersberg Hilton is in the midst of a renovation thatunfortunately penalizes the guests that are staying there. On arrival, we received our room keys, TWICE, both times going up to the 7th floor, fiddling around trying to open the door and finally treking back to the beautiful newly renovated lobby. On the third try, accompanied by a security officer and having insisted on a completely different room, we noticed that some of the locks on the doors were shiny new brass, and some were old and worn!The old locks didn'twork. The room itself was run down and tired, although the bathroom amenities were nice (Neutrogena) and the towels were thick and new. Halfway through our stay, they eliminated the mandatory valet parking, but, we had to adjust our bill at checkout to reflect the night we self-parked! The breakfasts were good, diningroom had been renovated and the pool looked very nice. Just don't stay here until they are done renovating! You'll have a much nicer experience!
