Gorgeous Hotel with Lovely Staff

Good day. Family and I stayed at this hotel for the last Atlantis launch May 2010. Very helpful front desk staff with such beautiful personalities. The young lady had me laughing and pumped for the launch and the night gentleman was just lovely and helpful. Wonderful prices for a wonderful stay. Plan to go back for Novembers launch.

way over chargefor shuttledays

as a local i was charged 250 for 1 night during a shuttle launch. I had my friends in town and suggested they stay not knowing and booking 3 months before the launch. We had a great time..but not happy about the gouge: considering i brought in biz. will be back in just a few days, but won't stay this time will crash the pool and the bar before the night is over! And my friends are back again this year on the way to key west w/ 2 more families all staying at same location. (oh food was overpriced...go to dixie cross roads ..we ordred out sushi from Asian house they delivered) but don't eat in their breakfast, lunch or dinner on site. Horrid.

Happy Day

I loved the front desk agents they were wonderful. The space shuttle launch is right across the waterway from them and is the most wonderful view ever.I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Ermmm.....

Ok, so to point out some good things: I visited with a large group of students and teachers from the UK in May 2005. The hotel staff were very friendly, and tried to make our stay as convinient as possible. There is a big car park so no worries about finding a space. The sunrise from the river front of the hotel is awesome! The hotel restaurant serves nice food and is clean. The pool is OK, altough the kiddie pool could do with some renovations. Ok, now the bad things: The room I was in (132) felt like it had been underwater (like in the other review- i wonder if they stayed in the same room?) It felt very damp inside. The toilet door would not lock, and the table lamp was broken. The room deco was also pretty outdated, but overall no major concerns.

Sleep in you car 1st

We spent the evening of 12/21/04 here, what a hole. The bed was terrible, the room smelled like it had been under water for a couple of days. Worst motel room ever!

Great View of Kennedy Space Center

I visited this hotel in February 2004 and was delighted to find that the hotel had been recently updated with new furnishings. The hotel was quite clean and comfortable and the staff went out of their way to make our family vacation more enjoyable. The front desk staff was quite knowledgeable about local attractions, and was able to point out prime viewing spots for local wildlife, as well as advise us of the best restaurants and other attractions in the area. The hotel sits directly on the Indian River overlooking the Shuttle Launch Pads. During my visit I was able to witness a Rocket Launch from Cape Canaveral. What A View! I can only imagine what it would be like to be there during a Space Shuttle Launch. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kennedy Space Center.
