Did I mention how miserably terrible this place is? Listen to the others and don't waste your time or money. You will be disgusted.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! The is the worst hotel ever!! I only chose this because I was on a trip and needed a hotel the was near the airport. The hotel needs to be torn down! The bathroom needs to be torn down. The is mildew around the shower. I had to buy my own bleach; it came in handy. The toilet had no seat cover!! You can see where it was cut off!! The air vent was very dusty. The face bowl is outside the the batheroom; next to the closet!! The face bowl also had mildew and does not have a stopper. It also appears to be clogged. The sleeping arear appears to be clean. I did not noticed any dirty sheets or pillows. There was also lamenated flooring; the only good thing about this place. The AC unit needs replaced. It was dusty. Only because the lowest rating is 1 star, that's what I rate it. Wish there was a 0 rating!! Final warning: DO NOT STAY HERE!! DO NOT STAY HERE!! The is a hotel next door and Ramada Fort Lauderdale Airport/Cruise Port 60 seconds aways.

I picked this motel because it seemed cheap and had transportation to & from the airport. Next time I will forget cheap and if I have to pay for cab fair then so be it. There was cracked & molded concrete almost everywhere. The certification on the elevator expired in 2009. After one trip in the elevator I refused to go up it again. We had to use a walkway to get to the stairs and that was where the maids were congregating. Generally I had to excuse my way through them. No hot water and extremely cramped quarters. The attached restaurant was over price. The room was tiled and if you walked in your bare feet sand attached itself to you. Air conditioners on the 2nd floor dripped off onto the 1st floor walkway. One maid had the audasity to throw her dirty mop water off the 2nd floor and just missed my son & myself by about 4 foot. The only ice machine I could find was in the lobby and you could only get wi-fi if you were in the lobby.

(1)VERY VERY RUDE & UNPLEASENT STAFF!!! (THEY NEED HOSPITALITY TRAINING!!!) BUT THE MANAGER IS WORST!!!! (2)VERY TACKY ROOMS (DONT LOOK NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES SHOWN) SMELLS OLD & MOLDY!!! NEEDS A FACE LIFT!!!! (3)NO SECURITY!!!! (4)NO PRIVACY!!! OVERALL NOT WORTH IT!!! I SAW THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS & STILL GAVE THEM A TRY AND IT WAS ALL THE REVIEWS SAID IT WAS & WORST!!!!!!! Wish I could've given zero stars!!!!

This place needs to be turned in to the code enforcement officer for inspection...I believe with all the black mold crawling up the walls it can kill a person. This is a $20.00 shack. good luck to anyone who stays there.

I did not even stay but went to the hotel next door and paid more. John, the front desk man was so rude we just left at 11:00 p.m. If this is the type of people Red Carpet Inn hires I will not ever stay there again and I travel monthly for work.

The hotel was filthy and the staff was unhelpful and rude. We were charged more than we should have been on the wrong account for a room that was in complete disrepair. Bad neighborhood, poorly lit and maintained grounds, and it is NOT a good feeling to hear someone trying to open the door to your room as you're settling in. If ever you have an occasion to visit the Red Carpet Inn in Fort Lauderdale, your first priority should be to LEAVE.

We booked it on line because it was near the airport even though it cost $90. First it was difficult to find and nothing improved after that. The desk clerk was ensconced behind glass with a drawer for exchange. That made us question safety. Parking is not adequate. We had to park very far away from our room and walk through a dark parking lot. The bathroom was tiny with mold in places. The towels were tiny and thin and only one facecloth was provided. The carpet had not been vacuumed. The chairs had ugly stains. It was quiet and the pool is pretty but that is not enough for me to recommend this place. My recommendation is to go elsewhere.

When we arrived we were given a room with substantial damage from the hurricane a month prior. The mattresses were damp, there were no towels, no phone access (you had to pay a deposit), no remote (you had to pay a deposit), there was mold all over the walls and doors. It was awful. We asked for a room that was less 'wet' and they put us in a different room. That room still didn't have phone, remote, but at least had towels. They charged an outrageous price for the quality of the stay. I would never stay there again.

i feel cheap and disgusted with the hotel. one morning i woke up and saw a roach crawling out of the telephone. more truck drivers stay their than anything and i didnt feel comfortabel. for my first time visiting fort lauderdale, if i was not with the person i love i would not want to come back.
