Relax Inn, Pompano Beach

MY HUSBAND AND I FOUND THIS PLACE OFF OF THE TURNPIKE. WE TRIED TO CHECK IN FOR A SHOWER AND QUICK NAP AROUND MIDNIGHT, BUT FOUND THE RUSSIAN DESK CLERK TO BE MORE INTERESTED IN THE TWO HOOKERS THAT CAME WHILE WE WERE TRYING TO CHECK IN. HE WAS APPARENTLY WILLING TO GIVE THEM A "FREE" ROOM IF THEY WOULD HELP HIM OUT. WE IMMEDIATELY TOLD HIM TO UNCHECK US AND WE WENT DOWN THE TURNPIKE TO ANOTHER PLACE. IF YOU'RE A HOOKER, YOU WOULD PROBABLY LOVE THIS PLACE, BUT TO ANYONE WHO IS PASSING THROUGH, KEEP PASSING.

Hi I stayed at this hotel on January 14, 2007 for 1 night. The hotel seemed okay, we got room 316 at first, we started putting the clothes in the drawers but when we went into the bathroom it had a huge hole next to the shower that was full of mold. When my grandmother saw it we called the front desk and asked for another room easily, then we got room 348 and was pretty much better. It was much better than the last room. Its pretty much okay for 1 night to sleep and take a shower! Not in a good area though!!!

This was one nasty little joint. The room was very dark, some lights didn't work, and there was one, yes one, ratty towel in the bathroom. To mommadgrad in the previous review - I found your missing roaches. One greeted me on the nightstand when I came in. The other one I had to remove from the bathtub in the morning. There were not enough outlets, so had to unplug the microwave for the fridge to work, and vice versa. The outside halls smelled like hot garbage. Saw several other unidentified species of bugs in the room. This would be a great place for entomologists.

Terrible staff, dirty, seedy, people linger night and day around hotel. Staff will take advantage of you if you let them(price, room selection).
