Casa del Mar, Ormond Beach

yes it is an older resort but right on the beach and its beautiful. if ur looking for prestige u have the wrong resort. if your looking for a nice roomy place to stay w/ kitchen area and balcony overlooking the ocean- you should book today. They are remodeling the entire resort because it is an older resort be patient because when its remodeled you are not going to be able to touch this place for less than 250.00-300.00 a night. again i already booked for race week and next january i would recommend this to others absolutly/def worth the money.

This is our 3rd stay at the resort and we plan on going back this year. The staff was very helpful. It is my understanding that the resort is being remodeled this year and we are planning on returning this year as well. The mattresses are a little too soft and need to be replaced others than that the staff was very helpful. I would certainly recommend this to others as well.

We were reluctant with some of the reviews we read. But all the updates have been made and it was a dream vacation. Great activities for the kids. Plenty of chairs around the pool area. Great hot tub, work out room, laundry room and location. Just minutes from great restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked will all we needed. The staff was great and very friendly. We made lots of friends from the midwest. We look forward to returning next year!

This place was really gross! It had hair in the bed, it was unclean,out of date, tiny, the bathrooms were dirty and old, and I will never stay here again!

We stayed this past wk-end at Casa Del Mar for my b-day. We wanted to stay Fri-Mon but they only had Fri-Sun avail. (We're BlueGreen owners so we used pts) We got to resort about an 1½ early and we thought we couldn't check-in yet but luckily, the room was ready! ;) We got "studio" which was small and we knew ahead of time that we were getting this. Even though it was small, it still had a small kitchen. We got an ocean view room and let me tell you, it was awesome!! We loved it! The only things we didn't like was.. the bathroom was very small, we didn't have enough towels and had to ask for more, we brought paper towels and glad we did cuz we ran out. There wasn't any kitchen towels or sponge to clean dishes. We didn't use any of their kitchen stuff, we brought our own. We loved the balcony, the view was beautiful. We enjoyed the pool and the small pool too. (We have a 2½ yr old daughter and she loved the small pool) We didn't do any of the activities they had since we got there around 230pm on Friday and they didn't have anything on Sat. We didn't visit the bar either. The staff in the lobby was nice but a few of the cleaning staff were a bit rude. The parking underground was great. Its a bit tight though since we have a big truck. The location of the resort was great, had a few eating locations around and a few supermarkets. We'll def return. Hope to get a bigger room if avail!

I was just surfing the net looking up the condo to find the pictures to show a friend that is going and I was totally shocked to see all of the negative comments im 21 and I have been going there since i was about 9 or 10 and there has never been a time that we have had ne issues. Two yrs ago when we went with a large group for my graduation/birthday and we drove down the day before we were supposed to check in b/c we were driving from cincinnat and we didnt want to waste a beach day driving. well needless to say we made perfect driving time and ended up getting there the night b4 and we were able to check in a night early instead of paying for some nasty hotel for 1 night...the bad reviews shock me....im leaving to go down in 15 days and can not wait!!!!

Loved the beach! Location is great to enjoy the beach and then take a day trip to Orlando. Underground parking is very convenient. We had a great stay.

Our experince at the Casa Del Mar was great. We really liked the ocean access. All the amenities you could ask for; heated pool, hot tub, balcony w/ ocean view, quiet and reserved. The staff could use a little more customer service skills. We liked the resort so much we will be returning again soon. It is a nice get away.

I loved this place. Loved the pool, loved the hot tub and loved the bar downstairs. Would love to go back as soon as possible.

We stayed and really liked it. Liked the underground parking garage to keep vehicles out of the weather. Close to everything in Daytona. Liked the bar/concession near the pool. Overall we had a very good experience.
