Fantastic Time We Will Be Returing
By nathalie, 7/29/08
The hotel is beautiful inside and outside. Its extremely big and very fancy. Our room was gorgeous!! We stayed in the 14th floor and we loved our suite. Also everyone at this hotel was so professional, very polite and helpful. They trully care about their guests. This was our first visit to Miami and for sure next time were here we will be returning to this wonderful and relaxing hotel.

Game of POOL
By ColleenM, 7/18/07
If what you want to do is take advantage of the Biltmore's fabulous pool make sure you call ahead and have them promise it will be open. Two of the three days we stayed here the pool was closed due to their inability to get the chemical levels stable. Put it this way, if the pool is one of the main attractions for staying at this hotel make sure the pool attendants are able to do their job. Also, note that the manager was unable to fix this problem nor make this problem better by getting us passes into the nearby Venetian pool. Lastly, the hotel itself is historically beautiful, the rooms are great, but be aware the prices of meals and beverages are outrageous (bring your own water).

A Bitter Disappointment
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/12/07
Pro: Fabulous service by the hotel staff. Excellent fitness center. Beautiful surroundings. Cons: Confusing signage for conference meetings. Bathroom poorly designed with small tub, unable to relax and soak in it; small vanity area; mold or other stains on bathroom tile. Had to call service three times in an attempt to get TV to work. Food service in 1200 Cafe was slow. Food is mediocre. No work area for business. Had to sit on bed to use laptop computer. If this is the best Miami has to offer, then I probably won't visit Miami again.

Beautiful Historic Hotel
By Lori, 8/27/06
The Biltmore was a beautiful old world style hotel...lots of charm and character with excellent service. Our only complaint was that the construction going on detracted from our total enjoyment of the facilities. I'm sure that once the renovations are complete, it will be lovely. We enjoyed the breakfasts in the loggia with the large fountain and tropical foliage. We saw a wedding taking place during our stay and this is a great location for such a celebration...very romantic and picturesque. We had our children with us and enjoyed it as a family too. Our kids enjoyed the huge pool and the bird cages in the lobby. I would recommend this hotel for those who like great service and old world charm and history.

The BEST Miami hotel-AWESOME POOL!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/23/06
Tarzan swam in this pool! Yes Johnny Weisemuller (SP?) swam here -was glitzy roaring 20s hotel retured to its glory in the 90s after years of neglect. A historic treasure, a luxury experience, Miami's BEST and I am a native! When I go "home" to visit, I stay here. Pool is BIG fun for all, food is great, beds are heavenly! The bath is beautiful! My favorite hotel! So cool and beautiful! Nice spa if ya want a good backrub!Great hair and nail salon. Nice gift store!

The ONLY place to stay in Coral Gables
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/3/06
This is the ONLY place we stay at while visiting the Miami area. Its as if we stepped back in time- its luxurious and relaxing with service that's second to none. All you need is one visit to get hooked ! My only regret is that this is my daughter's last year at U of Miami.

Classic, historic elegance
By Sweet, 9/27/05
In three words: Simply the best! The Biltmore Hotel embodies all that is classic about a bygone era. The grace of its magnificant lobby to the luxury of its ballrooms, the Biltmore Hotel serves a beacon toall who wish to take a step back in history; to a time where service reigned supreme and people wished to lead a more gracious life.

Luxury in Style
By Marsha, 9/20/05
This is the place to go for the most luxurious spot in Miami. This hotel is was built in the early 1900's and one of the finest most preserved hotels in Miami. Coral rock surrounded lagoon pool sit out in the back for everyone to enjoy. Al Capone had a suite here. Two of the finest restaurants Miami reside here. Little parakete's are housed in a large cage in the lobby. Nice bar area and book store underground and a cuban cigar roller making the finest hand rolled cigars with their Biltmore insignia. This facility has its own ghost stories too because it was a hospital during the war where many people died. Charles Merrick built and owned this fine hotel for years and still preserved.
