We Really Liked Our Stay
We were originally staying in South Beach then moving on to Key West when Tropical Storm Ernesto came. We had to leave our South Beach hotel and needed another place to stay. The Four Points booked us with no problems. When we came to the desk, the clerk was very nice and upgraded our room to an oceanfront view with a balcony. It was great.
The room overlooked the ocean and was beautiful. The room was clean and the bed was the most confortable of our trip. In the hotel's restaurant, the service was excellent, the food was tasty and our daughter ate free (6 and under).
The hotel's manager went around to all the guests to assure them that there were not going to be any issues with Ernesto. We asked for extra towels prior to the storm's arrival and they brought them within ten minutes. We had a front row seat for the storm, and despite the fact that the room's carpet got a little wet, they were willing to move us to another room without even the slightest delay.
This was a great place to go to the beach. It wasn't crowded, there was no resort fee, and there was no lengthy walk to the water. There is not much to do outside the hotel. It is too far to walk to Lincoln Street and there aren't many places to eat on that stretch of Collins Ave. That being said, I would still bring my family here again. The service was really good, the parking is cheaper than at some of the other hotels, there is no charge for the internet, the pool and jacuzzi is nice and well maintained, and we had fun. If you want to take small children on vacation to Miami Beach, and don't want to stay in South Beach (South Beach is not for children), I would recommend this hotel. Thank You.
