Sheraton Silver Spring Hotel, Silver Spring

I lked te rooms an the cleanliness. Very nice for a romantc night. I didn't like the resturants closing early 10:00pm, but you hve other restuants 5 mins. away.

Need better sounproofing. Had to call twice for a cot. Staff was short and rude. Front desk clerk didn't look at me in the eye. Saw a cockroach. I wouldn't stay here again.

Horrible experience. On the way to the hotel we got a call that they overbooked and moved us to college park. I was driving didnt take the call and didnt get the msg until we were already in the room. The parking situation is so confusing, and the attendants acted like we were from a foreign country. They couldnt tell us what to do, took my keys for what reason I do not know. I ended up getting wedged going down the wrong way to the garage because they wouldnt tell me which way to go to park. Once in the garage, we lugged all the luggage up to the 15th floor. You had to use your room key to use the elevator and my mom lost hers down the elevator shaft as she was holding the door for passengers. the room was nice, but we were so irritated couldnt enjoy. the shuttle was never offered to us either, we were afraid to ask. We drove to downtown and once back in the garage were chased from a handicaped spot that we didnt see labeled as such. then went to go park on the street and the attendant moved some cones and let us park. I would never stay here ever again, for 8 bucks, the parking should be easier to navigate.

I've stayed at this hotel on 2 separate occasions in the area on business. The hotel is very neat and clean and well kept. The rooms are a very nice size compared to the hilton I stayed at just a few blocks away. I found the business center very usefull. There are restaurants on site which i didnt get the opportunity to use but is very convenient. When in this area i would stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to others.
