All in all It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at SweetHotelDeals. N e t They usually have some pretty good deals on there.

The best hotel for a reunion

We had a Vietnam Veterans Reunion with about 40 people attending. On the last day we talked about where to go next year and the unamimous decision was to return to the Crystal City Marriot. No one could come up with a reason to go elswhere. There is plenty to see and do, the stores and eateries below the hotel are good and conveinent, the Metro is handy and the airport is close with a shuttle. The hotel staff really made us feel welcome everywhere in the hotel. The food in the hotel is really good. The only complaint was the parking fee but all the good things cancelled that out. Thanks for making our reunion so successful.

This is the place to stay for a visit to DC.

This hotel is great. Clean huge rooms, metro stop right under the hotel in the mall. Weekend rate is really reasonable. We needed a rollaway, and what they brought was actually a twin bed on wheels- very comfortable. Front desk and restaurant staff very polite. Two adult breakfasts included with the room is a wonderful touch - food is very good (try the crunchy french toast!) Down sides - the concierge is not very helpful with tour infomration, so have that already planned. Concierge lounge hours are not at all convenient, and the business center charges for interent access. (There are 2 free computers in the lobby, but getting access to them is limited.. And if you are planning on taking the free airport shuttle - walk around to the Marriott Gateway and catch it there. They load first, and we were lucky to get a seat - some people got left behind and had to wait 1/2 hour for the next one. All in all, a very nice stay - and will certainly stay there again.

HORRIBLE! SUCH A RIP OFF!

couldnt swim at pool, totally over rated hotel and over priced! The room wasnt even in my name and they charged me $300 on my card for no reason at all! They charge $22 per night for parking, what is that about! No breakfast unless you pay $18 for an egg! Worst hotel experience of my life and i am surprised at the other reviews that they didnt hate it also, they must be millionaires or something! Don't do it!

Helped Make My Wedding Wonderful

I liked everything about this hotel. It is small and quaint. The employees/staff were some of the best that I have worked with. I decided to hold both my wedding and reception in this hotel. Because it is a small hotel and they do not want lose focus, they only host one event at a time. Most of our guest were from out of town and they have continued to speak of the professionalism, the quality of the rooms, and the great atmosphere of the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends. If you are looking for a place where you will be treated well, this is that place. The hotel is one block from the Metro station. The food at the hotel is excellent.

enjoyed the stay except for 3 items

Appreciated the very nice rooms, the access to the metro, the weekend rate and pool, & shuttle to airport. Stick in your craw items were minor 1. difficulty in reaching the Concierge but they were helpful once reached, 2. the charge for local calls is very annoying, 3. the charge for using their business center computer was a excessive especially since there was no paper and difficulty in getting assistance.

going back for bday!

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel when I went for a National Healthy Start Conference in August 2007. I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff, the hotel's appearance and the overall quality of my stay. I want to go back to this hotel since the location was so convenient, close to restaurants, shopping etc. Thanks for a nice stay. The bed was really comfortable!

Absolutly Incredible

My Husband and I just got back from Washington, D.C. and had the times of our lives. This Hotel was conveniently located, it was awesome to be so close to great food, great shopping and transportation. This particular Hilton is highly recommended!! The staff was superb, dining there was exquisite, and the rooms were immaculate. I just cannot say enough. The Hotel Staff and Concierge made our 25th Anniversary so special. outstanding!

Our room was very nicew and the bed was the most comfortable that we've ever slept on. We enjoyed the lounge as a meeting place for our group. We were there to attend the Memorial Day parade 2006 as my husband is a veteran and selected to participate in the parade.
