Comfort Inn Ballston, Arlington

I will never stay at this hotel again! The room was dirty. There were bugs inside the bedspread and trash inside the bathtub. Then the staff at the Front Desk disputed this. I have documented this and I will forward this to the local health department. I have cancelled all reservations at this hotel.

This hotel was absolutely one of the worst that I had experienced in a number of years. The room was terrible. It did not even resemble the room in the photo on the hotel's website. It had a terrible odor of mildew. The staff was so rude and claimed they never had complaints of strange odors. However, there are several reviews that are also making these same assertions. Obviously, this is a dishonest staff. I will never return to this hotel again.

I was so disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The photos posted on the Web site are clearly not the room that I had. My room was very dated and cramped. There was a considerable amount of dust throughout the room. It is evident that the housekeeping is not thorough. The hotel staff was argumentative about this. But, I have documented this. I will be canceling all future stays at this hotel.

This hotel is one of the worst that i have visited. The rooms had a strange odor. The room was not clean,there was trash under the bed. The staff was rude.I will never stay her again!

This hotel was terrible. The exterior appeared to be in good condition. However, that was misleading. The interior of the hotel is clearly dated. The rooms were not as appeared on the web site. That is clearly misleading. The hinges on the drawers were on the hinges. The maintenance and staff were not helpful. The location for the hotel is great,but, I will not return as a result of these encounters.

My family and I spent one night here while we toured DC. The hotel staff including the front desk was very friendly and accomadating. Parking was very easy and secure. Room were spacious and clean. Breakfast was a little limited but good. Best part, 10 minute walk to the Metro! This hotel really made our trip to DC memorable!

The hotel was conveniently located near public transportation into DC and there were restaurants near the Metro station area as well. The rooms were clean and adequate. The night time clerks were not helpful. I had ordered a roll away bed on my first night there and was told I would not have it until midnight. At midnight when it had not appeared, I called and was told that the person delivering it was late to work. When I asked how long that might take the clerk (with much attitude) tol me that he "wanted to go home too and he couldn't help it." The daytime staff was very pleasant however. There is no where to park if the hotel gets full either., I probably wouldn't stay here again. Also there are two Comfort Inns on Glebe Road. That's confusing.

The rooms are perfectly adequate; the breakfast often is limited for the health-conscious: there needs to be a good protein available every day plus fresh fruit. For some reason the decaf coffee is never very hot. I have found all personnel to be polite and some are actually friendly! The location is very convenient for my needs which is why I stay here. However I think it is somewhat over-priced.

This was the only hotel available in the Ballston area accepted the government rate. It is not close to the Metro station...almost a mile away...and there is not many places to eat nearby. If you sleep in too late and try to take a shower, there is no hot water. The internet is wireless, but very slow. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

I checked in at 10:30 pm and ended up with a room facing the main road. When I called the front desk to complain about excessive road noise (with the windows closed), their response was essentially that they were fully booked and that the road noise would "get better"--although I called at 11 pm. The room was quite rundown in appearance, and, at $200/night, overpriced. Don't get a room facing Glebe and the highway if you want to get any sleep. The location--4 blocks from Ballston Metro--is, however, hard to beat.
