We slept on top of the bedspred in our sleeping bags - too afraid to look under the covers. Hair and dirt all over the sink and tub. Very dirty. Remote to TV was broken (batteries taped into remote and did not work.) People in and out all night long - horns beeping, shouting, doors slamming. Road noise. Shrubs overgrown. People walking around all night. We finally just got up and left at 5:00 to get out. The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Scary.

Room was old and worn. Shower didn't work properly. You are better off sleeping in your car. Got this through Hotwire. Hotwire has credited my account for the stay. Not a 2 Star as listed. Place looks like a ruined down motel. Yuck!!

This is the most disgusting hotel I have ever been in. Bugs, dirty, falling apart. Had to sleep in our clothes due to filth.

We were planning a trip to the race and I called to reserve a room. They took my credit card # and said they would call around Jan. to confirm. Well I called in jan. and they took my name and # to call me back. Never received the call so the following week I called again to be told the had no rooms left. Very Poor Service! When I told them they had my credit card # to hold a room I was then informed that when I called in August that it was only a request for a room. Why do they need a card # for a request? Well now we are looking for a room and can not find one because it is to late to be looking.

This place is one of the most disgusting place I've ever been in. Despite their claims of "new mattresses" we found bed bugs, and the rooms smelled awful and featured broken plumbing, dirty carpets (and I mean DIRTY) and broken locks and doors. The cashier at the Lowes next door actually told us she was afraid for us when she saw us going into the hotel from our tour bus, and now I understand why. Do not, under any circumstances, stay at this place. You'll be very, very sorry.

Traveling and stopped for the night. Nice clean room with great staff. Had just put in brand new GREAT beds and good breakfast. Good deal for the price. Will make a reservation next time in the area.

Not the nicest place but, the front desk folks acutally helped me out with a free nite because of my late arrival with 2 kids. Room was relatively clean and pretty much served its purpose..Last minute at just over $60 wasn't all too bad..

I stayed here for JUNE 2007 Nascar weekned and enjoyed my stay and hope to be back again next year. I made already reservation for a room.

WE WERE ON A TRIP FOR THANKSGIVING AND STAYED HERE ONLY BECAUSE IT WAS LATE AND RAINING AND TO TIRED TO DRIVE ANYMORE. THE SMOKE ALARM WAS HANGING FROM THE CEILING, I HOPED THAT WAS NOT A PROBLEM. WHEN I GOT UP THE NEXT MORNING AND TURNED ON THE LIGHT IN THE ALCOVE BY THE BATHROOM, I ALMOST GOT SICK. SIX OR SEVEN VERY LARGE ROACHES WERE RUNNING ACROSS THE COUNTER!! I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO BE SICK. I CAN NOT BELIEVE THE HEALTH DEPT. LET THIS PLACE BE OPEN. I TOOK PICTURERS WITH MY CAMERA PHONE, CAUGHT ONE IN THE ICE BUCKET, GOT OUT AS FAST AS I COULD. I WENT TO THE FRONT DESK, THEY WERE NOT INTERESTED IN THE ONE I GAVE THEM, ACTED LIKE NO BIG DEAL!!! REFUSED TO GIVE ME A REFUND. THIS IS THE MOST HORRIBLE THING I HAVE EVER INCOUNTERED IN ALL MY YEARS OF TRAVELING.

Burt the manager is very unreasonable! Constantly changing prices for VIP guest whom has stayed there for more than seven(7) years or more!Budget Inn was a great place to stay before the arrival of Burt the Manager. The previous managers were friendly and very, very, fair and courteous. Since Burt has become manager, cleanerness,price, and safety has become things of the past! During my last stay, a customer was found locked in the bathroom for more than three hours. There holes in the walls,pets in rooms(sign posted, "no pets allowed")But there are pets in Budget Inn. Budget Inn has gone downhill since Burt's arrival!
