It's 3:30am and I'm awake

I was upset because a bunch of rowdy partiers were keeping us awake, but in the light of day, it wasn't the hotel's fault. There was a weddig party and this group wasn't invited, and even ruined the newlywed's honeymoon. They would not budge even when the security came after them. Finally the police came and they actually ran away. This kind of stuff always seems to happen to us. In fact the last hotel we were at some kids kept pulling the fire alarm all night. geez where do they come from?!

Gross!!!

So we pull in and it is in a really pretty place and looks very nice. First room we go to someone had been staying it there, all the lights were on, the bed was not made, there was a towel sitting in the sink. We call down and they are all apologies and are moving us to a different room 4 floors away. We go to turn on the light by the chair and low and behold there is a dirty pair of men's underwear sitting on the floor. Four floors away and the housekeeping is still horrible! We left and drove 8 and 1/2 hours home that night rather than stay there. It is a filthy place, stay at your own risk!

Marriott's 2008 Update

Loved the hardwood floor entryway, comfy beds, plasma screen TV, warm decor, cider and cookies in the lobby. Good business center, inviting pool, great location. Would work on the restaurant - Chilean sea bass dinner and mousse shooters dessert was average.

Mold and the ceiling fell down

We stayed at this Marriot because it was convenient for the funeral we were attending. While the public areas are all right, the rooms were filthy. We discovered that our bed had not had the sheets changed from the prior customer. The ceiling in our bathroom was leaking and a large chunk of the ceiling fell into the bathtub on the 2nd and final day of our stay. The grout had mold in it and even after our complaint was not cleaned. The manager offered us some points and $20 off our bill, which was insufficient considering the filth and inconvenience. Bathing in whatever was dripping down out of the ceiling should have been treated more seriously, as well as the problem with the mold. The hotel manager knows there is a problem, they even turned off the water in the entire hotel during our stay, and this was before we informed them of our problems. Do not stay at this hotel.

clean, friendly, did not have signs of being undermaintained. Only complaint was the location is set back from the road, and difficult to see. That said the property was quieter and more lush by far than the typical stay in a similar hotel.

Great experience

I loved my stay at the Trumbull Marriott. I was 8 months pregnant when we spent a weekend at the hotel. The beds are so comfortable, I had a great nights sleep. The buffet was also incredible. I am looking forward to staying again.
