This place should be shut down!!!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/29/09
This place was horrible. My family and i stopped in here after driving for 18 hours.this place was disgusting the first room we were given was a storage room for the rest of the hotel then when given another room it stunk. there was a condom that my kids found it was just horrible.we didnt use the blankets because it was nasty. then after my kids were asleep gunshots rang out after a half hour. we woke up in the morning complained and were told they would check it out. and now that we have arrived home we have found out they double charged our card so now we are here letting all travelers know STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This place is a run down dump. The rooms are disgusting, and as a single traveler I did not feel safe on the property. The towels were thing and ratty, the room had a musty smell and the linens did not look fresh.

I Will never go back
By Coleen P, 10/08/07
This was a travel nightmare from beginning to end. Due to TERRIBLE directions from the staff aat the hotel, and then the fact that they did not answer the phone for 1 and 1/2 hours it took me 3 hours to locate the hotel once I was in New Haven. Once I did find it it was filthy and I did not feel safe in the room. The bathroom was moldy, the toilet seat was broken, the carpet and bedding were stained and ripped. There were cigarette burns on every piece of furniture and a board in the window. The room and stiarways smelled of urine and had it not been by this time 11 PM and I was not travelling alone I would have ventured out to find other accomodations. I realize that I payed a relatively low rate but I would expect a national chain to at least be clean and safe. This property fell short on both accounts.

GROSS
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/30/07
This place, although at a convenient location, is the worst place I have every stayed in my entire life. My friends and I had 2 rooms reserved and one of our rooms did not lock properly. There were a lot of people walking back and forward and looking into the room. This made all of us feel uncomfortable. When we explained the situation, we were denied a new room because the hotel was full. Later on when we asked for extra towels or sheets, we were told that there were no more towels or sheets. This place is extremely sketchy and I do not recommend it to anyone.

not recommended

I am pregnant and specifically requested a non-smoking room. Although that's what I was given, the odor of cigarettes was so strong that I could hardly sleep and left the hotel as early as possible on the following morning. Bathroom door didn't close. On the good side, there was a microwave and a fridge in the room. The bath towels were all stained and disgusting.

Wouldn't go back.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/30/06
I, was very unhappy with this hotel. Room was not what I expected. Rug was stained, like grape juice or wine, so was bed spread. Had only a shower, most places do have combination of both. Tub & shower. I requested a microwave & refg. for room 1 week befor , & at 9pm at night was told there are none . That happened the night I checked in. Called the desk 4 times was told we are working on it. I , just felt that the girl at desk did try to help a little. There were other people there at same hotel, who also had complants. thank you

really really gross
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/21/06
When we got there, there was a used condom in the toilet. The toilet also wouldn't flush. It is in a seedy part of town. The staff was nice, but all in all it was a really really gross experience.

watch out
By Jacqui, 07/17/05
This was in a very dangerous looking part of town. It is old, and the stairway leading to the rooms smelled like urine. Thankfully the room itself was slightly better, but the bed had hair in it, someone definitely had slept in it before me. I was so tired I could go no further but I stayed. I forfeited the second night's fare, there was no way I was staying there twice. Found out the ice machine was in a far-away building and didn't work once I got there.
