Fantasic Find!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/9/10
The perfect place for a get away. Located between Mystic and Stonington Village this place is perfect. The rooms are spotless, staff friendly, and it is minutes to "town". You can walk across the street to some great highly rated places to eat and there is even a cheese/gormet shop to grab somthing to bring to the beach. Love this place.

nothing special, overpriced
By Amelia Nagoski, 6/28/09
The staff were pleasant and the room was perfectly clean, but the place is old and dated so it did NOT feel like a special retreat. We had one of the nicer rooms, with a fireplace and jacuzzi tub, but it was faded and drab. Plus, it's almost a mile into the center of town, and NOT a nice walk. Not worth the money.

Home from home
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/2/08
We stayed here for five nights. The staff went beyound helpful for us. The room was homely and clean, the pool was the great. The breakfast is simple but a good selection. Our room was close to the road but we were never troubled by the traffic noise. We will stay here again.

Nice stay
By Sonny, 7/20/08
This Inn is very clean and pleasant. It is not in downtown Mystic but very close. We used the nice pool (we were the only ones there on a Monday night) and walked to a fabulous Indian place across the street for dinner. It is nice to stay in a place that isn't a chain and where we could open the windows and turn off the A/c (in July). We thought the room was a tad expensive ($159 for 2 full beds but it was comparable to others nearby). Continental breakfast is included. Mystic Seaport is very nice too.

Susan & Pat

We stayed at the Taber Inne a few years ago, and I was just looking on line to bring my family here. I am glad to see they are still in business. This Hotel was very clean and the owners were very nice and helpful. We are diffently going to stay here in Aug, 2008. Oh yes the price was just right. I loved this place.

wonderful place to stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/20/08
Great place. Excellent and very friendly service. Very clean. Lovely indoor pool. We stayed at the town house with open fireplace jacuzzi and a very spacious living room. Highly recommanded. The only thing that could do with a little impromvement is the breakfast buffet (kind of simple).

Kind of sad...
By david r, 3/18/08
We have a large family which disqualifies us from staying there. Most places around the country have been helpful in accomodating us...at least working with us to be creative. Bummer! Oh well, guess it'll be the Marriott.

nice stay in Mystic, CT
By Ann, 11/12/07
Clean, comfortable and front desk was very friendly and helpful with suggestions for restaurants and sights around town. The year-round indoor heated pool is a plus especially when we were there (November). Only complaint is that the walls were a bit thin. It is a kid-friendly place and the family next door was clearly audible.

Clean and Comfy
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/24/07
The Taber Inn is one of the best places to stay around Mystic. The kids loved it. The pool was so refreshing and the accomodations clean and comfy. We had called one of the local resturants to get a reservation and couldnt get in till 9 oclock . The Taber staff was able to get us a table at 630 the perfect time for my kids. When we got to the resturant we were whisked by the long line of people to a special table. To be treated so wonderfuly is a rare occasion nowadays. My family will be returning to the Taber ASAP.
