Poor housekeeping
By big e, 07/11/09
The location was great, all working personnel were great except housekeeping was very poor. Hard to imagine in a four star hotel I would have run out of toilet paper and had to go out in the hall to find some on a maid cart. Waited two days for our room to be cleaned and beds made. Our hotel door was always stuck and had to push on it with a shoulder to open it. The parking fees were ridiculous at 26 dollars a day.

Amazing Customer service
By joe s, 07/28/08
I decided on the westin tabor for my wifes birthday because of location. It is right off the 16th st mall which is no longer a mall. My only request to them was nothing go wrong. They started off the visit with upgrading my room for my wifes birthday. Then they set up a spa treatment for her. The room was wonderful. Every employee we saw made sure that we were doing great. No matter what employee we ran into they answered every request. In a lot of hotels you stay at if you don;t ask the right employee the right question you get told who you should ask, but not here. I saw an employee in the hall and after he asked how we were doing I asked if we could get some hot coco instead of coffee in our room. he of course said he would take care of that. A little while later there was a knock and it was him with the coco packets. When we checked out it turns out that gentleman was a valet. I would never had expected that . The service makes up for the little outdated things here and there.

I won't be back.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/24/08
Don't get me wrong, I like Westins. In fact, I'm a Starwood Preferred Guest, and the Sir Francis Drake in San Francisco is one of my favorites. The Tabor Center Westin is nice and new and has a terrific location, but all things considered, it offers extremely poor value for your money. Perhaps it's been too long since I've visited a Westin, but I was totally unprepared for almost everything being an extra cost option. In addition to charging for high speed Internet in the room--I'm not making this up--they charge $5.99 just to boot up the computer in the "Executive Center". I'm surprised they didn't have a coin vending machine that charged per piece of toilet paper. However, if you like poor to mediocre, overpriced "elf food" for really small elves, this is the place for you. My business takes me to several cities every year, and from my experience, there are comparable hotels that offer much better value. I won't come back to the Westin Tabor Center, and I'll certainly check out any other Westins more carefully before I visit.

overpriced
By SHAWN D, 10/20/06
This place is very nice: comfortable beds!!! The issue I have is the price. We were charged $289/night for a double. Then you have to pay $16 for the internet, BS!! I will look around for other accommodations next time in Denver.

Get It All In One Place
By 1sob4amf, 10/05/06
Westin/Starwood does it for me... superb hotels at every location/city and never a bad experience. Palm Restaurant was good, but the Augusta for breakfast... awesome! Room service very punctual, breakfast or late night, and pricey, but thats hotel life. I highly recommend the Tabour Suite, beds and baths are the greatest. CON: Interent service is not free!

Nice hotel and location
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/30/06
We had a nice stay at the Westin Tabor Center. The location is great right on the 16th street mall. Rooms were nice, beds were ok...mine at home is nicer. But the sheets and pillows were heavenly. The bathroom was nice and roomy and two shower heads in the shower. We had room service breakfast which was nice and Strbucks coffee is what they serve and is in your room. Gotta love that. Plus there is a Starbucks in the lower level, they will also delivery to your room. Had a great nights stay wish it could have been longer.

Unhappy customer
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/11/06
The in-room movie reception was horrible, the ice machine on our floor was not working, the key to the honor bar did not work Paying for internet service is unacceptable and not up to quality hotel epxectations. The most irritating part of my stay was the fact that the Westin has disabled the thermostat in the rooms so that a guest can not set his/her own temperature. So, I was restricted to calling someone at the front desk to have the temperature in my room turned down to a point that I could actually sleep which took an unacceptable amount of time

No Room Available - Liars!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/23/06
I would love to tell you about my stay at the Westin Tabor Center, but that would mean that I would have actually stayed at the hotel. I attempted to check into the hotel at around 12:30 AM on 01/14/06, and was informed by the desk clerk that there were no rooms available in the hotel. I agreed to pay more for a suite, or be accomodated in some other matter. I was informed that the hotel was sold out and I would have to stay at another hotel approximatley .5 miles away. After arguing with the hotel staff for several minutes I had no choice but to go to the other hotel. As I was leaving the Westin Tabor Center lobby, I saw another couple with baggage being led into the lobby to check in. Obviously this meant that there were rooms in the hotel available, but they just weren't going to give one to me. Why is hotel staff lying to guests who have a reservation? If I had made the reservation directly through Westin would I have this problem? Is this because I booked the hotel through Yahoo? The hotel that I was re-directed to was the Adams Mark hotel. This is not comperable to the Westin. I have previously stayed at the Westin Tabor Center, and the Adams Mark is not even close to being as nice. I've never had this happen before, and it is completely unacceptable. I have stayed a numerous Westin or Starwood hotels, and am a Starwood preferred member. Obviously this also means nothing. I have also booked numerous flights, hotels and car rentals though Yahoo over the past 5 years, and now, the time that I have a problem, nobody seems to care. I hope that this situation can be resolved, so that another Yahoo customer is not impacted in the same manner.

Simply awesome
By Bernardo Pohl, 01/08/06
Westin does it for me again, again and again. Superb Hotels. Great location. Stayed over for New Years and will do it again. Watched the first round of fireworks at 9 PM from my room on the 7th floor. Simply Breath taking. Got a little crazy with college kids on New Years eve. But, which Hotel holding New Years celebrations does not? Palm restaurant downstair, awesome. Pricey but well worth it. Room service, very punctual. Requsted some snacks to be delivered at 1 A.M. because we went down on the street to watch the second round of fireworks at midnight, punctual on the dot. Heavenly bed and heavenly bath are reason enough for me to stay again. Burger and fries might cost $15 but again if one stays at a hotel that is the price to pay. Location is great. In the middle of 16th street and Tabor center. Elevators got jammed packed during New Years eve but it happens. Excellent hotel.
