Save your money...read reviews carefully
By Lisa, 7/28/11
The only thing I really like was the comfy bed and I happened to have very nice people in valet and at the desk, however I would never stay here again and certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The floors were disgusting, the toilet had years of stains built up in it, the bath drain was broken off and rusted, the towels had brown stains on them, the room smelled musty and old...dirty, the hot tub was under construction still or again and my son cut his foot badly on the bottom of the salty water pool since the drain covers were off floating in different areas of the pool. Then the next day when leaving a bill of $15 was slipped under my door to "self-park" as a hadicapped customer in the underground parking garage from 7pm until 12pm the next day. Not worth even close to the price I paid and I stayed at a discounted rate. Would have had better ammenitites and rooms in a hotel at half the price. Just my opionion, but make sure you check reviews of this hotel anywhere you can before you pay to stay here...it's not worth your money.

Great hotel in Colorado Springs!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/29/10
This is a beautiful old hotel in a great downtown location. We have stayed there twice now with our two kids and have had a good experience each time. The other reviewers who have a problem with this hotel are just looking for something to pick at. Yes, valet was expensive. All valet parking is! But they are extremely courteous and very fast at bringing your car to you. Front desk was friendly and helpful. The pool is warm and is 3'6" all the way around. If you want your 2-year-old to be able to touch the bottom without drowning, go somewhere else. There's also a nice (but small) sun deck. One side of the hotel has beautiful Pikes Peak views and the other has downtown views. (Get the downtown view during the holidays - beautiful!). Beds were very comfortable. Housekeeping was great and they always greeted us with a hello and a smile in the hallways. If we needed the staff to bring extra towels or whatever to our room, they were quick. Room service was good and on-time, which you don't always get in other hotels. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Never have had such a bad experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/6/10
We drove to Colorado Springs and called at 5pm from the road to indicate that we would be checking in late (@11pm). The main operator made note of the detail and stated that everything would be fine as we had a confirmed reservation for a king size bed room (non-smoking). Upon arrival, parking was difficult at best as there was an EMT event going on down the street. We checked in at 11pm. At 11:30, I called the front desk to notify them that the bed was a double instead of the king (which was confirmed at that rate). Upon calling the front desk, the female attendant lacked apathy and simply stated that she would adjust our rate acoordingly. I then stated that she would need to adjust the rate to match the Hotel 6 down the road as the room was extremely outdated (top floor) with rust on the noisy fan and a bathroom that rivaled the size of a cruise ship lavatory. I then stated that since the Antlers did not follow through on their obligation to fill our king size bed request that we would be able to cancel our reservation for the following night without penalty. She said yes. I then hung up. A few moments later, I decided to walk down to the front desk (midnight at this point) to see if there were any other available rooms as the smell in ours was distasteful. I was met with an older gentleman who then changed our room to the 3rd floor. I immediately took the key and walked up to the room to check it out. It was a smoking room. I then had to go back down to the front desk to get back our old room as respiratory ailments prevent either my husband or myself from sleeping in a smoking room. He then changed our room key back and lowered our rate from $150 to $130. As it was 12:30am at this point, there was no alternative for us but to simply try to sleep there for the night. We have never had such a bad expereience at any hotel anywhere in the world. We previously stayed at the Broadmoor but thought we would give the Antlers a chance for this trip. It was a complete mistake. We will not visit this hotel ever again and recommend that nobody else does either. We will be telling all of our family and friends not to visit this establishment in the future.

Will not stay again.
By KathyT, 5/28/09
The bed was comfortable, the valet service was excellent but expensive. Housekeeping services were poor, 4 out of 7 days we had to ask for bath linens. The room was small, no small refrig or microwave. The pool did not look like the picture, it was small. The location was easy to get around town. The view of Pikes Peak was great.. Food and Bar pricey, not for someone on a budget.. Overall staff friendly.

Nice Hotel - Bad Room!
By Brooke, 5/13/09
My fiance and I traveled to Colorado Springs for a conference and were thrilled because we got a good rate at what seemed to be a very nice hotel. The hotel itself was great - nice work-out room, nice downstairs, and nice location; however, the room left much to be desired. I have seen nicer rooms in a Best Western or LaQuinta. The bed was fairly comfortable but the room itself was small and boxy. The bathroom was the worst part. The shower was similar to that which you would find in a locker room. It was a stand up insert with no bathtub and there was no raised area towards the bottom of the shower to keep the water from going all over the bathroom floor (the shower curtain didn't even go all the way down). My fiance is 6'6", so he barely fit, and each time either one of us took a shower we had to use about 4 towels to soak up the water that flooded the tiny bathroom floor. I expected much more out of a hotel that looked so nice from the outside and entry. Hopefully, Hilton will decide to give the rooms a make-over soon!

Won't be going back...
By Aimee, 1/31/09
The hotel is "ok". Rooms were nice. Pool was NOT what it was in the photo's. It's very small and it's over 3 feet (not fit for little kids). I think it's overpriced for sure.

We loved the Antlers Hilton Colorado Springs
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/16/08
We stayed at the Antlers Hilton on the night of July 4, 2008 and loved our stay. The foyer was very nice and complimentary lemonade was served upon check in which was very nice after being in the car for 7 hours. The room was updated and very accomodating and the wireless internet was great. We were able to see the fireworks display out our window which was very nice that we didn't have to get out with children to go see it. The room was clean and didn't have any funky smells and the staff was very accomodating. The location was convenient to all the attractions we were interested in and we felt safe. We would definately stay here again and recommend it to all of our friends and family. It was well worth the price, in fact, I would've expected to pay more for this type of hotel.

Nothing special.
The staff is not terribly helpful, although in the bar/restaurant, we had a very nice waiter. Hotel was quiet, but the rooms are not terribly well decorated. No ambiance whatsoever. Bed was nice and as strange as it sounds, the clock radio was exceptional. You pay extra for view of the mountains.
