FANTASTIC BARGAIN ON PRICELINE FOR $35-45 + TAX
You can get a room for $48-58 including all taxes on Priceline. The earlier you book, the cheaper it will be. That is a fantastic bargain, as even Motel-6 charges in this ballpark. If you are paying more than $70 including taxes then this is not good bargain. Rooms are far better than average budget motel. If you are just looking for a reasonable place to sleep at night, you cannot possibly do better than this. Obviously, such discounted rate is fully nonrefundable and does not permit any changes or refunds of any sort. Wendys and other restaurants and a Target store nearby.
Get room as high up as possible on east side to avoid traffic noise. I did not use swimming pool, restaurant, WIFI or gym so cannot comment on that. Service in hotel is uneven; lady checking me in was very nice and courteous and gave me east-most room on fifth floor but at checkout man was rude, unhelpful and discourteous.
PROS
Nice, comfortable bed with lot of pillows
Decent toiletries
Nice and plenty of towels
Nice, large LCD TV but limited number of free channels
CONS
Old building; carpeting somewhat worn
Hotel will nickel and dime you for every little thing [WIFI, bottles of water in room are not complimentary and their price is clearly marked, etc.]
Plumbing is old and somewhat unreliable but I did not have any problems
Be careful of the metal soap dish in bathroom; it has sharp edges and a previous review reported getting cut on it
