Great hotel!
By Colette, 03/11/09
Great hotel, great price. I stayed for business and the room was quiet and clean. The breakfast was good and the lobby is really nice. The manager was there at my checkout, very friendly, made me feel really comfortable and gave me good info about the town. I look forward to coming back!

HUGE SPACIOUS rooms!
By Heather, 03/10/09
We have become regulars here! It's a beautiful hotel and not expensive! one of those places that is a rare find! The rooms are very large and there are sofas in them. There is a lot of room and they allowed our pets for an extra 5 dollars. The room was very quiet, comfy and clean and we had a nice romantic weekend together. They have a breakfast and there is lots of different foods to choose from. The lobby and breakfast room is gorgeous. Wonderful staff they were very friendly and always attentive. We will be regular customers.

eh, good for sleeping, but that's about it.
By Niki, 08/28/08
$70 for queen room. Continental breakfast = walmart donuts & cheap coffeee. Internet Access not available in all rooms, must mention this at check in/reservation, or else you are out of luck. Rooms are kind of shabby. I had burn marks (from an iron) on the floor and a burned out bulb, and the comforter was nasty, but the towels and blankets/sheets were clean and comfy. The room was incredibly stuffy and muggy when I got there, but after several hours, the ancient a/c got things under control. Didn't see a pool at all, because the place is a maze and I was mostly fixated on getting in and out. The shower there was awesome, but don't expect any amenities other than the coffee/donuts, cheap packets of shampoo and a bar of soap. There's soda and vending machines, although the selection is pretty limited. If you are just looking for a place to crash for the night and a great shower to refresh you in the morning, then this is the cheapest "good" place you'll find. If you want higher standards and an actual breakfast, you'll need to shovel out the extra 10-50 for another "hotel". Yes, I would stay there again if I was running low on cash and didn't want to crash on someone's couch, but if I was looking for a vacation hotel room or multiple night getaway, I'd go elsewhere. Yes, the restaurant next door / "on site" is closed permanently, but there's a mcdonalds right across the street (50 ft away from the old restaurant) and you can order in from dozens of places.

Ok for the money.
By Tracie, 07/05/08
We stayed for a week and had a plesant stay except for the maintaince/pool guy. They advertise a heated pool, the pool was freezing cold. we had to complain several times to finally get the heater turned on for a hour or two! Very strange fella! Tina at the front desk was very professional and helped us a great deal. Hotels need more staff like her!

Great Place To Stay
By Amanda, 09/20/06
This place is a GREAT value! The room was immaculate & in great condition considering the price, I was impressed. I wished I had upgraded to a hot tub room once I saw how nice mine was. The staff was very nice & gave me directions to quite a few places. I forgot my sons baby blanket in the room & a staff member was also nice enough to send it back to me! It was a wonderful stay & I will stay there again! Just a note the restaurant next door was closed when I went.

Horrible
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/16/06
The room was very big. I expected at least a mini fridge. we stayed there 3 nights, front desk was no help. My husbands parents came and stayed in a room also, one of the lights were broken. not what I expected at all. I should have stayed across the highway. don't stay there

Misrepresented.....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/15/06
I had high hopes for the Mulberry Inn as I was visiting my hometown of Ft. Collins for the first time in five years. The internet site claimed a resident restaurant and heated pool neither of which it actually had. The pool was dangerous due to lack of hand rail into the water (it had been cut off leaving rings of exposed metal). We had burnt out lightbulbs in our room and when the maid finally brought a bulb she handed it to me and ran off leaving me to climb the sink area and replace the bulb. During our second night our alarm clock was set to go off at 1:00 a.m. by persons unknown. As well the alarm clocks in all the unoccupied rooms went off every morning at 6:00 and continued to go off until I went to get the manager to turn them off. We were terribly disappointed in our stay. One of the newer managers was very prompt in solving what problems she could but mostly the hotel is in need of a deep makeover from the staff to all of the rooms. The internet makes the place look better than it actually is.

horrible!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/25/06
We went there to celebrate my boyfriend's return from 5 months of military training. We got a room with a jacuzzi tub in it. As soon as we started the jets hair shavings and clumps of hair started coming out of the tub with the water. Absolutely disgusting!

Loved the Hot-Tub in the room, and it was full-sized, not just a jacuzzi tub. Was a great value.Room was excellant.
