DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/13/07
This is a substandard hotel at best. The lobby was so dark it felt like a cave. The place clearly had not been renovated in at least a couple of decades. The old oriental-style rugs in the lobby by the front desk were duct taped to the floor. The carpeting throughout was old and worn. The paint was chipped around every door frame that we saw. The room (#107) was small, had a musty odor when we entered, and had a window that was difficult to close and lock. It was not clean: there were a couple of flies flying around the room and cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling. We were afraid to let our daughter sit on the floor. It was also very noisy. Every sound from the hallway could clearly be heard through the door, which had a gap large enough on the hinged side to let light through. I could not get my 7-year-old anything to eat the following morning. We entered the restaurant at 10:55am and were told they were closed, with no suggestions as to where we might find breakfast or lunch. We were sent here by United Airlines when we were stranded in Denver. If it had not been for the fact that it was late when we arrived at the hotel, we were jetlagged, and had no idea where we were, we would not have stayed. We did not feel safe at this property. I hope I never have a hotel experience like this again. The Ramada website gives a very misleading portrayal of this property.
