Good hotel
By MichaelH, 05/11/08
We stayed at this hotel in May of 2008 for seven nights. The suite was ok but a recent new carpet left an order in the room. They gave us a handicapped room and we liked the layout of the shower. The on-site laundry was convenient and the staff was friendly. The only negative things I can say was the bed was too soft for my taste and the couch was uncomfortable for my extended sitting. Ate at Dry Dock, Neros,Fiesta Mexicana, and Tequlia's Mexican Restaurant. All were good but I highly recommend Molocats (sp?) at Tequlia's. Mike Honeycutt Cortez is a great place to stay if you are into ruins.

Great place at the end of the day
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/11/07
Travelers included great-grandmother, grandfather and grandmother, 9-year old grandson. We had a beautiful spacious suite with two very large bedrooms and a large bathroom complete with whirlpool tub. The swimming pool was open until 10:00 so even with our 9:30 pm arrival, the grandson was able to enjoy a quick swim before bedtime. The hotel staff was very friendly, the room was clean, the breakfast was more than adequate with waffles, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, bagels, sweet rolls and hard-boiled eggs. This was our last stop of a 12-day trip through Colorado, Wyoming and South Dakota, and by far the best value we found. We were very comfortable here.

Turquoise Inn
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/12/04
This is a nice place to stay for your Southwest Colorado vacation. We have stayed here the past 3 years and have always been pleased. There is a heated outdoor pool and an indoor pool/hottub (it's way bigger than a hottub but smaller than a pool). The Continental breakfast also has a decent selection.
