Affordable Inn, Grand Junction

WE STAYED IN THIS PLACE FOR ONLY ONE NIGHT LAST SUMMER, AND THEN MOVED DOWN THE STREET.FOR OUR 2ND NIGHT IN THE AREA......WE WERE PUT IN THE BACK OF THE MOTEL AND THE ROOM WAS FILTHY, THE BATHROOM WAS DISGUSTINGLY FILTHY......CARPETS WERE DIRTY AND TORN..... I TOOK PICTURES, IT WAS NOISY AND OBVIOUSLY THEY HAD WEEK TO WEEK OR MONTH TO MONTH CLIENTELE.. .ALL IN ALL DON'T STAY THERE. WE WISH WE HADN'T....STAY AT THE DAYS INN

Great Value, WIFI, Outdoor Pool, Excellent Friendly Staff, Completely furnished room.. Close to downtown. Great for overnights or business travelers in town for a week or two. The day clerk isn't that bad.

The inn really looked good from the front. We soon found that it does not look good inside. We found mold in the shower. The box spring mattress was falling apart and the sheets were worn and yellowed with small holes on both of the beds. Putting cute knick knacks on the walls did not hide how dirty the room really was. We will not be returning.

All the hotels we have stayed in over the years I have never seen such a horrible room. The carpet was dirty, and bunched up in places, the mattress was so bad the fitted sheet didn't even fit right on there, the sink was all peeled off, and the shower was gross. The remote didn't work had to go to the front desk & have them reset it, after we came back from eating the remote wouldn't work again. We paid 74.99 for a room that was totally disgusting. I give this hotel 0.

We checked into this motel on our way to Chicago. Our key card did not work so we went to the front desk to get a replacement. The desk clerk said that the lock to that room was not working and that she needed to give us a special key. She gave us a key with a hole punched out of the top and when we asked for a second key she had to make sure that she still had one key reserved for herself. This made us suspicious of the key. On our way back to our room my husband slid the key card into the door of the room next to ours and it opened!! Then he used the key on our door…it opened too!! The woman had given us a master key to all of the rooms in the motel!!!! We returned to the front desk and asked the woman about the key and she admitted that she did in fact give us a master key. When we told her that we were uncomfortable with the situation she assured us that we were the only guests with a master key (as if this would have made the situation any better). When we protested again she offered to move us to a different room (where we would be at the mercy of the next person who was issued the master key). We insisted that she issue a refund, which she did, and we went down the street to another hotel. Please consider your own safety when deciding whether to book a room at this motel!

i purchased the weekly rate. Stayed for 5 nights left for 1 night. Upon returning my keycard wouldnt work. Went to the front desk to find out they had checked me out because my stuff was gone & rented it to someone else while i was away. Owner jody said that since i took all my stuff they assumed i checked out. They did have my cell # & could have called me. They did however out of the goodness of their heart (insert sarcasm) comp me my room.

We really enjoyed this motel. We really found the employees very helpful and they treated us very well. The rooms were very homey and very clean. We like that every time we come stay, there are new improvements to the property. This time, we had new beds in our motel room. Very comfortable.

We stayed at this motel for three days over the Fourth of July weekend!! We had a really great time!! Our room was great as it ALWAYS is for the price. We come to this motel every year for the Fourth of July because we can watch the fireworks on July 3rd over the Golf Course while swimming in the pool!! Our kids LOVE it! It is always well priced so we can afford to spend a few days. We also really like the decor... this property is very well cared for! We recommned it to everyone!!

Mu husband and I went to Grand Junction to do some shopping and we were actively searching for a motel...we saw this motel and the flowers hanging over the balcony were amazing! It looked like a Cottage! I just knew I had to stay there. The room was so cute with an old American style to it and the bedding was so nice. We felt like this was more like a bed and breakfast with the roomquality, friendly staff, and quaint accomodations. I will go back to this motel every time we visit Grand Junction. Great Place!!

My company stayed at this motel while on a project. The motel was clean, and the staff was very helpful. The prices were right for us as we travel a lot and they offered us weekly rates for our stay of almost four weeks. This property was really clean adn they had pet friendly rooms which was a plus for me. I would definately stay here again.
