FANTASTIC!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/13/09
Four of us (3 adults and 1 child----if you want to call a 12 year old that stands 6 feet tall a child) stayed there just after the Labor Day holiday. we found the service was GREAT as well as being very helpful. The breakfast was good (we saved on average $40 -- $65 on every breakfast) Location to Disneyland was excellent. Will definetly be staying there again.........THANK YOU TROPICANNA!!!! for making our trip as pleasent as it could possibly be. Corey S. Mission, BC. Canada

Bedbugs In Bed
By marino, 11/10/09
We've stayed at the Tropicana a few times with no problems. Our stay in Nov. 2009 was a disaster. The first night I woke up in the middle of the night with bugs on my pillow! Yes, real live bugs. Needless to say, I jumped out of bed and called the lobby. An employee came down, witnessed the bug infestation, and moved us to another room. We had to separate any of our clothes we thought might be contaminated, take showers and wash hair immediately, tried to sleep but had to leave the lights on for fear of another bug infestation in the new room. What a disaster, and your worst nightmare in a hotel. Never heard from any employee, including the manager, about what had happened. When we checked out the clerk offered us $30.00 for our trouble, I refused. They ended up giving us one night free, after practically begging. No compassion at all. I've since googled bedbugs, and that's what they looked like and I believe they were. For fear of bringing them home our luggage went straight to our backyard, everything that could be washed was washed, suitcase went into the trash, and so did the pajamas I was wearing on that fateful night. Now, I know things happen and it was not necessarily anyone's fault, but, where was an apology? I had to call the manager when I got home. She never made the effort to contact me. I was totally put off with the way this was handled by the hotel. This is a Disney Good Neighbor hotel, but don't count on Disney to do anything about it. Although Disney is nice, and willing to listen, there seems to be no recourse through them. They let their name be used, but that's where their responsibility ends. So, my only recourse is to let as many people know about this excperience as I can.

Third time- perfect !
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/09/09
This was our 3 visit to LA,and we stayed at Tropicana Inn on our last visit. This place was just perfect,so close to the pedestrian crossing to Disneyland. We had a room pretty close to the road and found this no problem with noise. The room was nice and comfortable, also very clean with fresh towels daily. The Reception persons were very helpful and courteous. Found the Breakfast just right, nice and lite, altho we were eating cereals most mornings and having to pay a few extra dollars it was not a problem There were plenty of other eating places if one wanted a full brekki( Dining room a little small at times but ok) We ever come back to Disneyland, definately Tropicana. Had a great week here 28-May-----5 June 2009 .Thanks 3 couples from New Zealand.

Overall Great Motel!
By tiffany, 03/12/08
We stayed here in March 2008 with our two kids ages 12 and 2...We started out getting a room with only a shower (make sure you ask for a tub if you have young children) and they traded us right away for a room with a tub. It's located right across from Disneyland so it's a perfect location with many food choices around it. We stay in a lot of motels/hotels and I would say this on was in the top 5.

Awesome stay!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/27/08
We found the hotel was really nice and clean and it was right across the street from Disneyland, that was what we liked about it. When the kids were tired we could go back for a nap. The staff were really friendly. When we take the kids back to Disneyland we will be going back to the Tropicana Inns and Suits!!

Super good time !!!
By Just Me, 09/02/07
We couldnt have been happier with our stay. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. It was right arcoss the street from Disneyland and several restarants close enough to walk. There is a little market on the property that stays open very late I went a few times for things I had forgotten. I would stay there again

I recommend!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/15/07
I was very happy with everything about this hotel. It was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. And you can't go wrong with being right across the street from Disneyland. We would be the first ones at the gate in the mornings and then we would return to the hotel in the afternoons, cool off in their nice/clean pool and then take a short nap and then back to Disneyland till midnight. I would recommend anyone to stay there and if we ever return we will stay there again.

Plan on coming back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/12/07
The front office people were so helpful - especially when our original tours were bogus. They not only got our money back but booked reliable and good tours in place. the entire staff was helpful, and when us aussies couldn't work out how make the shower work, the more than helpful cleaning ladies assisted us!
