La Jolla Village Lodge, La Jolla

It was probably one of the best hotels I have stayed at so far! The price was very affordable, the room I stayed in was very nice, I highly recommend it to anybody.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming lodge. It is close enough to the gorgeous coastal sights and restaurants that you can walk everywhere. Free parking was very helpful and added to the value. The fruit was plentiful and available all day. Having additional snacks available was a nice touch. We truly appreciated the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. We were given maps and suggestions for points of interest in the area. May many travelers find their way to a happy adventure at La Jolla Village Lodge!

The service is very personal at this motor lodge. The location is just two blocks from the heart of one of the best neighborhoods in all of California. Free parking, free WiFi and free continental breakfast makes this place a great value. The only drawbacks I could find was that the building was a bit old and the street noise on the ground floor is a little loud. But I would come back again if I had to stay in La Jolla.

An odd place... built on a cliff... facing the ocean and a park with a view to die for if you are on the ocean side... easy access... parking provided (which is HIGHLY difficult in La Jolla)... accommodations are almost anything you need... room w/kitchen if you want to live in for a week and cook in... regular motel type room or suites if you are there for romance or for a family event... location is perfect... 100 steps up to the main drag and the main shopping area in downtown La Jolla... around the corner from the cove on cove level... close to great restaurants... Harry's for breakfast... Top of the Cove for a great romantic dinner where the tree on the property is awesome... as is the food... easy spot to run from... and a place where for the price you get VALUE which is the key ingredient with me whether it is a hotel, restaurant or a product.
